The Spectrum of Cars children's book series reflects her belief that learning should be joyful, communication should be accessible, and every child deserves tools that help them thrive.

The Spectrum of Cars children's book series is perfect whether you’re looking for a calm bedtime story, an everyday adventure, or tools to support early academic success, sight‑word learning, and early reading skills. The coloring and activity books within the series extend the experience, offering educational fun through drawing, coloring, writing, and hands‑on activities. Designed inclusively for all children, including autistic and neurodivergent children, and kids with ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, and learning differences, the series is helpful and enjoyable in homeschool environments, classrooms, and speech therapy settings and more.

Tonya continues to write and create stories — available in e‑book, hardcover, and paperback — inspired daily by her son, her family, and the countless children who will grow, learn, and shine through the pages of her books. Tonya believes in creating a communicative, inclusive community that understands and embraces neurodivergence. She focuses not on the disability, but rather the abilities, talents and characteristics of children on the spectrum through social stories and real world application.

Through her company, Fun Speech Journey LLC, she gives back to public education, literacy, inclusiveness and autism acceptance efforts in the community. ...more

Tonya Baradaran liked Marlyn's review of Spectrum of Cars: 3 Short Stories About Cars (The Spectrum of Cars Children's Book Series): "Great for kids who love cars The first story, "Shift Gears," was my favorite. These stories were a bit young for my kids. I would recommend it to kids aged 3 to 6 years old. The middle story "Park Here" is about 2 cars who go to the park. Cute and uplifting story... pun intended. There is beauty to the simplicity of a kite and the feeling you get when you build one. I love the characters and feeling of hope and joy I had after reading it.
