A native of Chocowinity, NC, Dr. Ward is the consummate hands-on man who did not follow a traditional path to becoming a dentist. Previously, he bought, sold, and repossessed mobile homes where the windshield of a big truck provided his daily office view. One might say that he knows every back road in North Carolina and several other roads residing in the Eastern Standard Time zone.
