“The End of a Journey: The Lotus Mark Series is Complete!
I'm thrilled, emotional, and incredibly proud to announce that the Lotus Mark series is officially complete and published! All three books...The Pink Lotus, The Blue Lotus, and The Green Lotus... are now available. My original vision for this story, a raw and honest look at addiction, trauma, and trafficking through the eyes of an ER nurse, is finally realized.
What a ride it has been.
Writing this series has been one of the most challenging and rewarding journeys of my life. The mission was always to educate through fiction, to start difficult conversations for families, and to let anyone struggling in the darkness know that they are not alone. I’ve poured my experiences from the front lines of emergency medicine into these pages, hoping to create something that was not just a story, but a resource.
Tackling such heavy subjects has been incredibly demanding. After diving so deep into the shadows for these books, I’ve decided to shift my focus. I’m not sure I want to tackle writing such hard subjects again. Instead, I'm joyfully moving on to my next adventure: creating fun, educational content for children and teenagers! I'm excited to bring a bit of sparkle and science to a younger audience.

New Chapters, New Glasses, and New Adventures Ahead!Hey friends and readers 💜
Big update from my creative corner of the universe! I just wrapped the first draft of the very first HARSH book, and I’m now deep in the editing stage. Writing a choose-your-own-adventure again was so much fun... it brought back all those childhood memories of flipping pages to survive one bad decision after another. It’s wild being the one writing the twists now instead of just reacting to them!
I’m brainstorming the next HARSH story. I’m torn between two themes:
Social media recklessness (because, yes, there are real consequences when you post nonsense online)
Or anti-bullying, especially when it comes to how rumors and pictures can destroy someone’s high school life.
Both are powerful, and both are painfully real.
Meanwhile, I’ve also kicked off the outline for The Green Lotus, the next book in The Lotus Mark series. So far… it’s clicking beautifully. Gritty, emotional, and full of tension... just how I like it.
Oh, and in real-world nurse life? I’m loving my new job as a nurse educator. Watching nervous students learn how to perform their first vital signs or give their first bed bath reminds me why I do what I do. It’s messy. It’s awkward. But it’s also incredibly human.
Thanks for walking with me through the fiction, the feels, and the fluorescent-lit hospital halls. More to come soon 💪💙

Author Update The Lotus Mark: Series Two: The Blue LotusI’m a new author, but this journey has been building in me for years.
The Lotus Mark: The Blue Lotus was just published... book two in a dark, trauma-informed fiction series rooted in the kind of pain that doesn’t fade quietly. And now, I’m working on the final book in the trilogy (for now): The Green Lotus.
This series isn’t for everyone. It’s dark. It’s heavy. And for me... it’s real.
The Green Lotus is the hardest to write. One of its characters is inspired by the most devastating patient I ever cared for in the emergency room. It’s a story I’ve carried for years… not just in memory, but in my bones. As an ER nurse, you learn to protect yourself, to keep moving. But some people stay with you. Some stories stick. Forever.
First responders... EMTs, police, firefighters... we all carry something.
If you know one, thank them. If you are one, I see you.
Once The Green Lotus is complete, my vision for The Lotus Mark will be whole.
