I’m a chaos-driven writer from Kansas City.

I grew up in a family with five boys, which taught me a great deal about patience and persistence. My parents were incredibly supportive of creativity, and thanks to their influence, my brothers and I pursued various forms of art.

I am married to a wonderful and supportive wife, and I have three daughters who will someday rule the world.

Though I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, I gained more knowledge from David Farland/Wolverton and Priscilla Van Der Weele-Smith.

I read this on a 6-hour car ride, and it made the trip go by quickly as I imagined shifting timelines. The writing is easy to get lost in, packed with twists, secrets, and emotional turns. This is not generally my genre, so I was impressed by how muc ...more

"The action sequences are amazing and the book leaves you breathless! I want more of the world and the guild, I’d love another book of the other “cards” because I just didn’t get enough "

Fair warning, this book kinda feels like two books. There’s a fairly abrupt jump when one section ends and the next begins. With that said, Lost to Alice is a coming-of-age story. Aria is uprooted after her parents’ death and sent to live with her co ...more

From the first abduction to the final chapter, you’re invested in the survival of the characters. Jonathan Janz is a phenomenal writer and an even better person. I had the pleasure of meeting him at a book signing and even sharing an author panel wit ...more
Guild of Four by C.R. Guardian
"I’m not going to lie, this isn’t my normal genre so it took me a bit to get into it. After I got into several chapters I really enjoyed the storytelling and how it kept building the characters. Full disclosure is that this is written by one of my son" Read more of this review »
Guild of Four by C.R. Guardian
"A man has been chosen. He will be tested by some of the world’s top assassins, if he survives, he joins them. This is the premise of Guild of Four. This book had a choke hold on me tighter than Nooses weapons (read the book and you’ll understand). Yo" Read more of this review »
