Hi, I’m Melba—a Dominican-American poet, nature lover, and creative spirit living along Florida’s coast. I spend my days chasing sunrises, biking near the ocean, photographing birds, and laughing way too loud at my own jokes.

My debut poetry book, Unplanted Yet Flourishing, grew from my quiet journey through infertility and the healing power I found in nature. It’s a collection of soft truths, poetic reflections, and small moments of reclamation, for anyone holding unseen grief or blooming at their own pace.

I created the Poetic Nectar Collective as a space to honor healing through storytelling, art, and connection with the earth. Whether you’re here to read, reflect, or just breathe, I’m so glad you found me.
