Rome Richards is an Australian poet, lyricist and author. For her, poetry is a kind of alchemy, a sacred craft that transforms the pain of heartbreak, hardship and the complexities of love into something beautiful and transcendent.

Rome's work is dark, delicate and haunting. She often pairs chilling imagery with sweet undertones. Raised on the windswept, rain-soaked coast of Victoria, Rome’s deep connection to the natural world around her seeps through her writing.
