Kari Trogen is a Canadian author for young readers.

In 2009, while studying children's book editing in Toronto, Kari began co-writing a middle grade novel with her sister Brit.

Margaret and the Moth Tree was published without either sister attempting to strangle the other, and also won the Ontario kids' choice award for middle grade fiction. Kari now writes from her home in Toronto with the help of two grey cats and copious amounts of tea.
