Catherine Bird is an author, speaker, Bible teacher, and sometimes a reluctant homeschooling mama, who also loves being a wife and a mom and often struggles to find balance between them all. She is genuine and not without a sense of humor about her walk with Jesus, which includes plenty of bumps, stumbles, and falls. We serve a good and faithful God who asks for our love in return. Catherine is passionate about encouraging others to embrace this truth. To that end, throughout her ministry, she has worked with women, teens and tweens to encourage, empower and equip each in their own journey of faith.

Catherine is the author of The Art of Amen, Becoming a Girl of Grace: A Bible Study for Tween Girls & their Moms, Building Circles of Grace, A

As a God who literally knit us into being within our mothers' wombs and knows the number of hairs on our head, it doesn't get more intimate than that. I think especially in today's culture, it's easy to get caught up in the ways of the world forgetting that we were designed to live in the ways of the Word. That was the heart behind The Art of Amen...I wanted to demystify the act of prayer and encourage others to explore and delve deeper into the comfortable intimacy we are designed to crave with God. Nothing and no one else can ever fill that space within us, and God did that on purpose. (less)

Okay, so I’m a nine on the Enneagram. When life feels stressful, I sometimes retreat into my imagination. It’s the way God wired me. I can’t help it. It’s partly why I have always loved Hallmark so much. All’s well that ends well. I think we can all agree that life as of late has been more stressful than usual. As it’s prone to do, my mind wandered the other day as I thought back to a sermon s
