Afternoon.
Finally home.

Coming back late.
I’m at the airport.

Someone says, “Look!
Over there! That airplane

landed. Now look
around us.

This place is full
of people leaving.”

I think back to
when I was overseas

in the airplane. I remember.
Lifting up, then flying,

then landing. And now
this reunion.

My
family says,

“Alex, we’re so happy
that you’re finally back!

Are you ready to go home?”
I say, “I’m ready.
