unique This book is interesting. A Dino story where every page is both in English and Spanish. The illustrations are really unusual.

original This is different than a lot of joke books. A skeleton is used in a variety of photos and then pun jokes are given for that scenario. I’m confused about using a bar joke for kids though.

sweet story This a sweet story about a little boy and all the amazing things he did in a day. Nice illustrations. It might not be as fun for a child who didn’t do those exact things.

nice message I loved the message of this story, about an ordinary girl and how the king valued her. I think the writing and some of the illustrations could use a little more polish.

beautiful I love orcas and enjoyed the information in the story. Beautiful illustrations. I actually wish it wasn’t forced to rhyme as I think it made the language too sophisticated for small children.

a perfect bedtime story I love this book! It is rhythmic without being rhyming. It has gorgeous illustrations. A peaceful read about animals and a dog.

sweet Sweet book about a little girl and all the things she does in a day that make her amazing. Nice illustrations. My only thought is the things she does are fairly specific so I’m not sure how much a child would really enjoy it.

beautiful I really liked this story about a boy and his camels. It’s well written and interesting. The best part was the illustrations which were gorgeous.

After reading the exerpt of The Hiding Place, I think you would enjoy reading Behind Enemy Lines. It is about a young French-Jewish girl, Marthe Cohn, growing up during World War II. As a young woman, she enlists in the French army and becomes an intelligence spy that goes behind Natzi borders.

This is a true story. Marthe Cohn currently lives in California. She is one woman I'd love to meet!
