I felt emotional as I read your words, and I am so grateful that you took the time to explore this story so thoughtfully. ( I haven't read that magazine before, so I apologize in my delay in getting back to you.)
I also am amazed at the particular lines you pulled from my book. They are some of my favorites. The one about distance was a last minute edit - one of the last changes I added to the book - and once I wrote it, I couldn’t imagine the book without it. I’m so glad it made its way into your review. Thank you again for your beautiful interpretation and understanding of this story. I am humbled and grateful! (less)
