Mir Rahimi is an author, advocate and humanitarian. Born in Afghanistan and arriving in the UK as a refugee in 2001, he began formal education at the age of fourteen and later earned a master’s degree in political theory from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
For more than a decade, Mir has worked with charities, international NGOs, local authorities and the United Nations across Africa, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and the UK, supporting refugees and displaced communities. He has spoken at global forums—including United Nations conferences—where he continues to champion peace, justice and the protection of children affected by war and conflict.
