Black Widow Blues
Black Widow Blues arrives March 22, 2024. It is a novella/novelette, depending on the nomenclature you prefer, and involves plenty of spiders. Pre-orders are now available on amazon and signed copies will be available shortly through my website.
2024 has already been eventful with plenty more releases and surprises in store. The complete Symposium of the Reaper collection came out in early January, followed by the Serial Publication audiobook. So much more is in store this year that I can't quite talk about yet, but I can say my novel, Infernal Moon, will be out before long.
2025 will also kick off strongly with the release of Son of a Serial Killer through Mad Axe Media. I highly suggest you keep an eye on what they're doing, as this is going to be a big release.
More to come soon!

1. Home Sweet Honeycomb
2. Middle Finger Rigor Mortis
3. All's Fair at the World's Fair
4. Until the Bubble Pops
5. Of Shallow Graves and Vigilance

7. The Afterdeath
8. Unfathomable Depths
9. Have a Blast!
10. Purge the Demiurge

Middle Finger Rigor Mortis is already available to read on my free substack, and The Afterdeath was published in Siren's Call Publication's latest issue.
This is my favorite volume, which might be biased, but so be it. Once again, thank you to all supporters and those who read/pre-ordered already.

Symposium Updates
A few updates for the Symposium folks.
Symposium of the Reaper: Volume 3 is nearly done, however the bad news is it will likely not be released for some time yet. The good news is that one of the stories will be published ahead of time and will be out before the actual volume. That story is called The Afterdeath. More on that later.
Volume 3 is more depraved, darker, longer, but most of all, it feels complete. As promised, this is the finale to the trilogy and then I am done with short stories for a good long while. I love the process of writing shorts and have a ridiculously good time doing so, but this volume will make 39 total stories and I do not want to run the well dry. Though If you even remotely enjoyed the first two, this will be worth the wait. As to the future of Symposium of the Reaper, I have plans to keep it living after Volume 3 in some form, just not short story collections. More on that later.
Finally, for fans of novels, I am working on preparing my third novel for release, as well. I finished writing it back in February but am taking my time to put out the best product possible. I am beyond excited to get this one out there, but alas, all I can offer is to say...more on that later.
As always, I am humbled daily by the fact people are enjoying these stories.

Serial Publication will be bumped to May 9th
Hello everyone,
There was a small issue with publishing and paperbacks of Serial Publication were sent out early to a few distributors. Therefore, the new release date will be May 9th.
Frankly, I do not mind that this happened as the book has been completed for well over a year and it will be great to finally get it out there and into your hands. I currently have a full fledged horror novel waiting to go and that is easily my favorite thing I have done so far. In the meantime, I will also be working on Symposium Volume 3

Serial Publication is out July 11th, 2023
Hello, everyone. Today, I can announce my next book, Serial Publication, will be available July 11th, 2023.
This is a serial killer thriller/horror novel that will satisfy the wants of both true crime fanatics and horror fiends alike. Synopsis below.
"Serial killer and media darling Charles Proctor becomes the subject of his own reality show alongside unwilling homicide detective Erin Underwood. Designed as a pay-per-view event for Charles to detail his every murder and give the locations of missing bodies, he begins to take control of the spotlight and reveal the locations of new victims live on air. The police department is sent scrambling to stop the latest string of deaths as the public and viewing audience devours Charles' every word. Welcome to 2031, where the need for constant entertainment outweighs the implications of watching innocents die."

SOTR:2 Announcement
As of today, I can officially announce Symposium of the Reaper: Volume 2 will be released February 10th, 2023 worldwide.
The stories are as follows, continuing in sequence from volume 1:
XIV: The Hunger...It Aches
XV: Necrocide
XVI: As Within So Without
XVII: Fear of Life
XVIII: Eye for an Eye
XIX: You Only Die Once
XX: Float Like a Butterfly
XXI: Lake Umbra
XXII: Killers Anonymous
XXIII: Hell is Other People
XXIV: The Truth About Cannibalism
XXV: The Beast and Me
XXVI: Satan Claus
The reason for the stories to be numbered as they are, following 1-13 (or I-XIII) in book one, is because I want Symposium of the Reaper to be considered one complete volume when all three are complete. A symposium of 39 wildly varied, manic, and demented short stories.
I had a ton of fun writing this book and can't wait for everyone to read them, truly. I may be a tad biased, but I believe this volume is much stronger than the first, and hopefully the third will be even that much better.
Speaking of SOTR:3, which still seems odd to think about, it is deep in the planning stages and shaping up nicely. Once I am done with the current project, that will be my full focus.

Symposium of the Reaper 2
Hello, my name is Andrew Adams.
I began my days as an author writing horror and horror-related novels, one of which being Constructing Entropy. However, between a hectic day job and full life, writing 60,000 or more words can be a lengthy commitment both timewise and mentally.
I began to break up long projects with short stories to avoid fatigue, and thus Pavor Nocturnus was born. I had a simple whim to follow, something difficult to do with novels, and so I wrote it. The feeling was liberating, which led me to write another and then eleven more. Any thought or what-if ideas I had could become stories, though my only rule for myself was not to have any. If I had a truly horrific story to write, or a silly horror story, or anything in between, they would all be included next to each other in the anthology. Then eventually when they were all finished, That became Symposium of the Reaper and I returned to writing novels.
My following book (not yet released) was the most extensive project I had ever worked on and burn-out set in after the six-month process. I love writing novels and creating a world for someone to dive into, including myself, though my attention span is also next to zero. What to do next? Just write a short story to unwind and have a bit of fun again, so I did, and then another and so on.
Which brings us to present day. Symposium of the Reaper 2 is with the publisher and looks to be released in February 2023. I never had the thought of making a sequel to a book, and actually didn't write the first SOTR with plans to release it at the time. Things just happen as they do when you enjoy the process, which is exactly the case with SOTR 2. I had more fun with this project than anything I have ever written, and in turn I am happy with the product. You can expect 13 more short stories in many different time periods and genres, moods, and themes. Whatever whim I had at the time, or whichever what-if idea to explore. I will reveal the titles soon enough, but I can guarantee volume 2 starts off with a bang. The first story, number 14 in order, was my palette cleanser coming off my previous novel. It is titled "The Hunger...It Aches" and that will set the tone for the rest of the anthology.
As far as future plans, I had so many ideas beginning Volume 2 that a trilogy is in order. I am currently deep into writing a novel, so you can expect volume 3 to follow that project. Alternating between full-length and short stories has really allowed me to expand my ideas and enjoy each one more. I absolutely cannot wait to share Symposium of the Reaper 2 with everyone, though.
