What inspired Technofascist Protocol: New World Order?
What inspired Technofascist Protocol: New World Order?
It started with a simple, uncomfortable question:
What if belief itself could be engineered — not by force, but by the very platforms we trust to “connect” us?
This book came out of late-night reading, real-world news, and the eerie sense that the line between persuasion and programming is growing thin. I didn’t want to write about an Orwellian boot stomping on a face. I wanted to explore the kind of control that feels helpful. Optimized. Personalized. I asked myself: Would we even notice it?
Is the book based on real events?
No — but it’s dangerously plausible. The technologies in the story are fictionalized versions of things we already see: emotional analytics, nudging algorithms, surveillance capitalism. The novel imagines what happens when these tools converge and quietly rewrite reality around us.
So while the plot is made up, the mechanisms behind it are disturbingly real.
Who should read this?
If you're into near-future thrillers with a philosophical edge — think Black Mirror, The Circle, Neuromancer, or Daemon — this might be your kind of story.
It’s fast-paced and cinematic, but it’s also meant to leave you questioning:
Whose version of the world am I seeing when I open my feed?
And what’s being filtered out?
Is this part of a series?
Yes — New World Order is Book 1 of the Technofascist Protocol series. Each book will explore a different layer of engineered control, new characters, and the expanding consequences of the Protocol itself.
Book 2 is already in development — and it will hit closer to home.
Why the pen name “Amy Turing”?
It’s a tribute — and a warning.
Alan Turing saw truth in patterns before most of the world even knew what a machine was capable of. I wanted a name that honored that legacy and hinted at the philosophical heart of this series.
This isn’t just a thriller. It’s a conversation we need to have.
Thanks for reading — and for supporting indie authors who dare to write into the grey areas.
