David Lagattuta Jr. is a sociologist, environmentalist, mental health advocate, and writer from New Orleans, Louisiana. A proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, David writes with honesty, empathy, and a sharp sense of humor, often blending genres to create stories that are as heartfelt as they are unexpected. His work spans satire, comedy, and drama, with a deep focus on the human condition—especially the parts that are messy, vulnerable, and real.

Raised by his mother and grandmother, David’s voice is shaped by strong women, Southern grit, and the beauty and heartbreak of everyday life.
