Lei Edrada was born in Ilocos Norte, Philippines where her grandparents would tell her legends and her mother would read her fairy tales. As a young child new to the United States, Lei often sought comfort in fantasy books and found poetry as a way to express herself, sparking her interest in thought provoking words that pull at the heartstrings and bump the funny bone.
