Every story begins with a spark—sometimes small, sometimes overwhelming. For Metro B – A Woman’s Awakening on the Underground, the spark was a single, fleeting thought during a metro ride in Rome: What if two strangers, each carrying their own hidden struggles, crossed paths in this exact moment?
From that question, Emma and Salvatore were born—two voices moving in parallel, each searching for a different kind of freedom. Their journeys are deeply personal, yet also universal: love versus duty, the longing for change, the fear of breaking what feels safe.
The metro itself became more than a backdrop; it turned into a metaphor for movement, choices, and intersections in life. A train ride is always a transition—between places, between emotions, between who we were and who we might become.
In the weeks ahead, I’ll share more about the characters and the choices that shaped them. But for now, I’d love to know: Have you ever had a chance encounter—on a train, in a café, on the street—that changed the way you looked at your own life?
