But, since I'm a children's book author, I will mention a few I'm planning to read to my kids in 2025 - "How to Pee your Pants* the Right Way" by Rachel Wilson and "I'm Sorry you got Mad" by Kyle Lukoff. I hear these are both silly and teach a subtle life lesson which is the kind of book I like to write.(less)

Although I do always wonder if my Semester at Sea school ID ever showed up after being lost in the Mekong Delta. I don't think that would be a very interesting plot unless its a futuristic sci-fi book where they find it but you never know... (less)

What Do I Love?

My new series "What They Love" was designed to take children into the minds of inanimate things or make believe people to see the world from their perspective. I'm hoping to add more titles to this series that are not just trucks (thought the second one will definitely be more trucks) such as Leprechauns to Santa, and more!
