Introduction
I’m C. J. Landry , a former first responder who spent decades on the front lines. My writing is rooted in real calls, real scenes, and the unseen weight that responders carry long after the sirens fade.
My latest book, Soul Tired, is disguised as a true crime suspense story, following the investigation of a paramedic’s mysterious death in a small town. Beneath the mystery lies something deeper: the cost of carrying too much, of holding everything together while quietly falling apart inside.
I’m now writing my second book, continuing to explore the hidden struggles of first responders while weaving them into suspenseful, emotionally charged stories.
