It's Publishing Day! "The Space Between Us" is now available!!

I'm so excited to share that my latest book, The Space Between Us is now available. I can't wait for you all to read it, and I hope you love it as much as I do. It's always bittersweet sending a book out into the world, because you realize that you're letting the characters you created go out and make their mark on people's lives, even it's as simple as bring a smile to someone's face. I know I don't write life-changing books. I write books that are meant to be fun, give you a laugh, let you experience love, and help you escape for a few hours. And I hope that's what this story will do for you.I enjoyed spending the past year with these characters so much. It's hard to let them go, but the story is done, and it's time to share it with you all. So check it out in the link below, and hopefully it'll make you smile as you curl up on your couch this weekend with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, because winter is here, and it's cold AF. What better thing to do when it's cold but hibernate in the warmth with a good book. I hope this will be that book for you.Happy Reading!!Monicahttps://www.amazon.com/Space-Between-...

New Book Coming Soon

It's been almost a year since I published Breakaway, and I'm excited to share that I have a new book coming out soon!

If you read Forget Met Not and Breakaway, you were introduced to confident, feisty, fearless, driven, and passionate Sloane Andrews. In my new book, The Space Between Us, Sloane's story comes to life.

Sloane is the youngest A&R Manager at Gravity Records, she's dating a professional baseball player, and she has great friends. To the outside world, her life is pretty much perfect, but that's because it's what she wants everyone to see. The reality is that nothing in her life is perfect, and she knows something real is missing. She just doesn't know what it is. But her tough exterior and confidence have gotten her where she is in life, and the last thing she wants is to let anyone see that she doesn't have everything figured out, so she's makes a habit of keeping people at arms' length. Of course, what she doesn't plan on is encountering someone who's able to see past the façade she portrays and break down her carefully constructed walls. Someone she never expected, who ends up being someone she can't ignore.

Tate Phillips never thought he would have a chance with the girl of his dreams. But that was before he became one of the most famous musicians in the country, writing chart-topping songs, and selling out concerts. And when he signs with Gravity Records, he knows it's his chance with the girl he met years earlier, who likely doesn't remember that he exists. But he's determined to change that, because when it comes to a girl like Sloane Andrews, who he's thought about for ten years, he'd be an idiot if he didn't at least try to win her over.

The Space Between Us tells the story of Sloane and Tate, two people who are seemingly wrong for each other in more ways than one. Or are they? You'll have to read the book to find out. It'll be out on November 16th, so mark you calendars.

I love this story that took me longer than I expected, but that only helped to make the story stronger. Sloane and Tate each have compelling backgrounds and stories that intertwine more than they ever expected. I hope you'll check out this book that I'm so excited about, and that you'll love it as much as me.

The Space Between Us, coming November 2018.

"Breakaway" Now Available

If you haven't yet had a chance to read my latest novel, Breakaway, do it now. I'm so excited to share this story of Presley Grant and Asher Reddick with you all. I hope you love it as much as I do!The book is available for all eReaders, so check it out! Here are the details of the story:Presley Grant grew up with wealth and privilege, and with that came the understanding that she would lead a certain kind of life. Following in the footsteps of her father, she pursued a law degree, she dated the men her mother approved of, and she prided herself on keeping a level head at all times. But on the eve of her last semester of law school, she runs into someone from her past, and without her even realizing it’s happening, her carefully constructed world gets turned upside down.Asher Reddick isn’t a bad guy. He just knows what he wants in life, and he goes after it. And sometimes that doesn’t go over so well with the people he’s wronged. It’s also why he doesn’t have a girlfriend. He learned years ago that monogamy wasn’t for him. So when he runs into Presley Grant, the best friend of his ex-girlfriend, he realizes that what he fantasized about years ago might actually be able to come true – if Presley can look past the fact that he hurt her friend and that he isn’t looking for more than one fun night.Presley and Asher couldn’t be more different, but something keeps drawing them together. She doesn’t want to be attracted to him, and he knows he isn’t the guy for her, but none of that seems to matter when neither can stop thinking about the other. Of course, no one in Presley’s life knows about Asher, and she intends to keep it that way – at least until she realizes that if she wants to be happy in life, she’s going to have to face some hard truths. And falling for a guy who’s completely wrong for her might be the hardest thing she has to face. Happy Reading!Monica

New Series & Book 1 Cover Art!

Hi everyone! I'm really excited to share that my first book of 2017 will be available soon. The past year brought a lot of life craziness - all good stuff, but in trying to balance everything, I had to force myself to slow down a bit with my writing. It's been over six months since I published my last book, Promise Me, and while I've never waited that long between books, I'm glad I did. It gave me time to really focus on the story and characters in a new series about four friends living in New York, and to carve out the intricacies of their intertwined lives. I also spent some time working on a stand-alone novel that I'll also publish in 2017, but more to come on that later. In the first book in this new series, Forget Me Not, you'll get to meet Emery, Cami, Sloane, and Pressley, four girls who are in their mid-twenties, living in one of the greatest cities in the world, and of course, looking for love. The first book in the series will be Emery's, and it will be available this Spring. I'll share more about the specific pub date and the details of the book as it gets closer, but her story centers around a past love who comes back into her life when she least expects it.I hope you all are as excited as I am for this new story. I really think you're going to enjoy it. For now, here is the cover to the book as a little teaser of what's to come :)Monica

"Promise Me" Now Available

Hi everyone! I'm thrilled to share that my new book Promise Me is now available. You can grab it on Amazon.com and Smashwords.com. It'll be available on all other eReader sites shortly. Check it out! This was definitely a story that halfway through I wondered where it was going, if I even liked it, and I debated not finishing it. But thankfully my writer's block/painful writing journey came to an end, and I couldn't be happier with how the story turned out. One of the things I love most about writing is where the story takes me as the author. I always set out on one course, but things never stay the same. Twists and turns that have to happen to either strengthen the story or that just make sense based on who the characters are always work their way into the end result. But it's a really cool experience when those plot changes and different paths end up making the book even better than I thought it could be. I hope you love Promise Me as much as I do :)https://www.amazon.com/Promise-Me-Mon... Reading!
