Things That Break Us Is Now in Kindle Unlimited — Plus New Audio!
I’m so excited to share some big updates about Things That Break Us — updates I’ve been working toward for a long time and can finally bring to you all in one place.
First, the book is now officially available in Kindle Unlimited for the very first time. This means KU readers can dive into the entire story — every chapter, every emotional beat, every setting from Philadelphia to Botswana — all included with your membership. If you’ve been waiting to read it, or you’ve been thinking about adding it to your December TBR, now is the perfect time.
Along with joining KU, Things That Break Us also has a brand-new virtual audiobook edition. You can now choose to read or listen, both inside your KU subscription. I know many of us love having the option to switch between formats — listen on a walk, then pick up the Kindle later, then listen again before bed. The virtual audio makes that possible right away.
For readers who aren’t in Kindle Unlimited, the audio is also available for purchase, so everyone can access the story in the format that fits their life. I wanted to make sure no one was left out.
And because I always want to be transparent with my readers: while this virtual narration is a wonderful way to bring the story to more people, I still believe there’s something magical about a real human voice. A human narrator adds warmth, nuance, breath, emotion — all the little inflections that bring a book to life in a different way. So yes, a fully human-narrated audiobook is something I hope to create in the near future. It’s on my wish list, and I’ll share updates when I have them.
For now, I’m deeply grateful that Things That Break Us is more accessible than ever. Whether you prefer ebooks, audio, KU, or purchasing your own permanent copy, there’s a version for you.
If you read — or listen — I would truly love to hear which scene stays with you. Readers often tell me the book brings them back to a moment in their own life, or makes them reflect on love, loss, healing, and choosing your own path. Your messages mean so much, and I appreciate every single one.
Thank you for being here, for supporting this journey, and for welcoming Things That Break Us into your reading life. 💛
