The Creative Process: How To Write A Book
Welcome to the final week of the month-long Carnival of Creative Mothers to celebrate the launch of The Rainbow Way: Cultivating Creativity in the Midst of Motherhood by Lucy H. Pearce which has been Amazon.co.uk’s Hottest New Release in Motherhood for the past week!
Today’s topic is The Creative Process. Do read to the end of this post for a full list of carnival participants.
**********
It’s been quite a fair while since I wrote but I have been honeymooning on the other side of the world with my lovely husband! During our 7 weeks away we snorkelled on the reefs in Bali, visited the world’s biggest casino in Singapore, had a wedding blessing in a natural park just outside Brisbane, saw dolphins, kangaroos and koalas in their native habitat, took a boat trip under Sydney Harbour Bridge and lots more.
This lots more included catching up with some of my best friends. It’s quite ironic but I have a great knack for making friends on the other side of the world. So even though I might only see them every two years or so, I still consider them some of the closest people in my life. But this time when I visited lots had changed in their lives. In fact almost every friend I saw had a new addition in their life – a baby.
Considering Chris and I are trying for our first child it felt absolutely perfect, if not a touch magical, to bring in all this wonderful baby energy into our lives.
Anyway all this is a tangent to the main part of this post but I wanted to explain why I was drawn to Lucy Pearce’s new book, The Rainbow Way, which links creativity with motherhood.
Because here’s the thing. As an author of one award winning book, my dream is to keep writing and keep writing until my books reach as many people as possible. I mainly write fiction and I’ve always believed that good old fashioned storytelling has great power. We can weave in great parables about life without appearing to preach. We can drop in wisdom in the form of one wise old character without appearing to tell someone what to do. We can include our life’s vision without appearing too obvious.
So fiction is my first love but as I stand on the precipice of motherhood, the trip opened up some fears for me about motherhood and writing. Namely – would I be able to do both?
Keep writing books and have babies?
Our time away was beautiful and also, like most travelers on a journey, it also opened up our minds to what else is possible in life. Escaping the rut of routine living allowed us to get more of an insight into what we actually wanted from our lives.
And along the way I experienced a massive aha moment about my creativity. I realised that having babies would not get in the way of my writing, it would actually enhance it.
So with this realisation comes the crux of this article. Often in life we have false beliefs and blocks in the way of what we want to manifest and create. For me, it was the false belief that children would get in the way of my creativity.
But what of someone who of really wants to write a book? Do you have any false beliefs about the creation of a book? I often say that writing a book is akin to the pregnancy process. We incubate ideas, we spend time formulating them, then we inhabit an extremely private world for a number of months before sharing our creation with the rest of the world.
Is that you? Have you dreamed of writing a book but never got round to starting? Have you started but given up? Have you got a story you really want to say, that might even be life changing for others, but you don’t know how to get it out?
Having mentored other writers for nearly most of my adult life, I know first hand the blocks, fears and insecurities that hold people back from achieving their dream.
These fall into the following 3 main categories:
1) Lack of skillset – “I don’t know where to start”
2) Fear of what others might think of you – “But what if I fail?”
3) Lack of self-worth – “I’m not a very good writer”
Let’s go through them and discount them one by one because by the end of this article I want to leave you with the feeling that you can and xxx
1.) Many people do not have the right skill sets when they set out to write a book. Just like many non-mothers have no clue what to really expect from parenting. But lack of skills does not prevent us because we know we can learn along the way, often instinctively, and with the help of others.
The biggest mistake new writers make when they start writing is not realising that writing is a craft and that like most crafts, you need to learn the ropes. (I am talking mainly about fiction here as fiction is a real dive into our creative selves and a journey into our innermost cavern.)
Do not attempt to do it alone. Invest in a book on writing, google how to write a book, join a writing group, take part in a course, find a mentor! My students often tell me how surprised they are at just how much there is to learn about writing. So if you don’t have the required skill set when you start out, don’t let this stop you! Because it’s perfectly normal to not know how to write a book. Just as you wouldn’t carry a baby without getting outside help, just go out there and look for assistance. Many, many people have done it before you and along the way they have left written guidelines for exactly how to do it.
2.) Fear of what others may think of us can hold us back in many walks of life and not just writing a book. Writing can be intensely private and personal, especially fiction, so the very thought of sharing this with the world can be scary. And this is completely understandable if you have never shared any of your writing before. In fact many of my students have never told anyone they are writing a book as if it’s some kind of deep, dark secret! They fear what others might say. The way to move through this is to take it in small steps. ‘Come out’ as a writer to a close friend and see how good that feels. Write a blog post and share that with friends. Get some feedback. Realise everyone is going to be nice and not nasty. Write another blog post. See the world as kind to your voice. Release a short story. Grow in confidence. Gradually move on up through to sharing your entire book. By doing it in gradual stages you gently expand your comfort zone and receive positive affirmation along the way.
3.) Finally lack of self worth is something that can affect us all. In terms of your writing, the way to move through this is similar to the point above. When students join my group I only ever allow positive feedback in the beginning. I believe that we should cheer lead our creative voices and celebrate their arrival into the world. Only after we feel comfortable sharing our work do I then tentatively start to suggest improvements. So I would suggest either joining a supportive writing so you can confidence or sharing your writing with close friends. When you receive positive feedback the demons in your head telling you that you are not good will start to recede. I also advise joining a group or a course because this way you will start to develop and by noticably improving as a writing then your self-confidence will start to increase until the point when what people says is no longer important anyway.
So if you are looking at 2014 and thinking this could be your year to write a book, don’t let the demons stop you! I honestly believe we are all capable of writing a book and that includes you.

Live Interactive Call Invitation
Are you writing a book but got stuck?
Is there any specific element about novel writing you wish to learn? Maybe characters, plot, pace, dialogue, “show don’t tell”?
Do you want some tips on how to market yourself & stand out from the crowd?
Do you want to be part of a dynamic, support, interactive group so you don’t feel so isolated?
Rather than read ‘how to write’ notes from a book, would you prefer to hear me teach the content LIVE and be able to ask any question you want at any point?
If you’ve answered YES to any of the above, then I’d like to invite you to be part of my Soul Writer’s Cafe LIVE 60 minute Workshop Calls.
These calls are normally exclusive to my monthly membership group (who pay £47 per month) but due to demand, I am now opening them up to the general public for a small per call investment.
This means you don’t need to join the group to benefit from the live content and you can listen to whatever call you want without needing to commit to all of them.
The calls take place fortnightly on a Thursday at 18.30 London time.
To give you an idea of the kind of topics we cover, previous calls included:
Pace
What To Do If You Lose The Muse
Marketing (parts 1 & 2)
How To Create A Strong Female Character…
(By the way if you are interested in any of these recordings, please let me know. They are available for £9.99 each or 3 for £25.)
So if you are interested in writing and completing your dream novel or it’s marketing advice you need, then I invite YOU to join me on these live, workshop calls.
For each 60 minute call you receive:
The invite to join my live 60 minute call & the opportunity to ask me any questions – either in writing or on the call.
The MP4 recording so you can listen to it time and time again.
My comprehensive notes to accompany each call so you don’t have to be frantically making notes as I talk.
In ADDITION to all of this, you also get the chance to enter my brand new monthly prize draw where the winner receives a FREE 30 minute mentoring session with me.
(To be eligible to win, all you need to do register for any of the live calls.)
The investment per call is £17.50 and if you book 3 upfront, you get all 3 for £45 – saving over £7.
The next call is this Thursday, 12th September at 18.30 London time. The topic is How To Create Your UNIQUE Writer’s Identity and we shall be covering:
- How do you stand out as a new writer?
- What’s the difference between identity & voice?
- Should you use a ‘pen name’?
- How do you create an identity if you feel you don’t have one or you write about lots of different subjects?
To book your place on this Thursday’s call or to ask about the recordings or anything else – please send me an email to hannah (at) hannahmdavis.com
I look forward to seeing you there!

My Wedding!!!
Hello!
Welcome to September’s newsletter where it’s not really a newsletter at all and more of a chronicle of one of the best days of my life….
My wedding day!!!
Yes, exactly one week ago today I got married.
From start to finish, it really was the most magical, perfect fairytale of a wedding. The sun was shining, the venue was absolutely stunning, my dress and hair came together in the end to look elegant and beautiful (when I look back at the photos I hardly even recognise me!!!) and the ceremony was moving, joyful and full of light.
Ah. If I only I could relive that day over and over again!!!!
We had tried our hardest to personlise the wedding so the table plan was a mock cover of Voices of Angels and the table names were characters from the book. Also as Chris is a big West Ham supporter we played the West Ham song as our entrance music into the reception room and everyone blew some bubbles.
We had also written each person a hand written note to let know them how much we valued their company on our special day – and lots of people cried when they read theirs!!! Our dear friend, Mariette, sang our 1st dance (I Won’t Give Up by Jason Mraz) and later in the evening we had some passionate flamenco singing and dancing which went down a treat with the guests. We’d also had classical flamenco guitar playing just before the ceremony which everyone loved.
So all in all, we felt as if the Gods were smiling down on us. Many guests said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been too.
It certainly was my best wedding ever.
So now I am a married woman and a step-mother to a lovely 13 year old boy.
Eeeks!
And yet 2 years ago I was at one of my lowest ebbs. I had broken up with my previous partner because I knew that however much I loved him – he just wasn’t The One. So I took a punt on the unknown. I took a risk that if I broke up with him…my true partner might enter.
It didn’t happen overnight. In fact, I went through about 6 of the hardest months of my life as I went through some deep healing work to clear up why I wasn’t meeting men I deserved – why wasn’t I attracting the relationship I knew I could have?
And only when I went through that, did my gorgeous Chris walk into my life.
And now I can say…dreams DO come true.
Much love and light to your dreams,
Hannah

July Newsletter Full of Sizzles!
Welcome to July’s newsletter where today’s theme is letting go…
And ironically I had to let go of this newsletter actually going out on time … as I’m aware it’s now August and not July so apologies for that! But better later than never.
Letting go can be as simple as clearing out the rubbish. Chris and I have been on a real ‘clearing out’ spree of late. We’ve been selling things on Ebay, depositing things at charity shops and even doing a car boot sale (which Chris hates but I love!). The idea behind all of this is we accumulate so many things which we don’t really need or we have outgrown or simply because we no longer like them.
It can also be clearing out one’s writing room (ahem) so the desk is free of clutter, loose sheaves of paper, pens that don’t work and other non-supportive energies towards writing….

Letting go can also be when you need to let go of a person (a relationship which no longer serves you) or even an emotion or trait we have become attached to. For example a friend of mine was really struggling with money recently and my advice to her was – you guessed it – to let go.
When we let go strange magical things happen….
We create a void or a vacuum in our lives for something new to enter.
And often that something new is much better than the thing, the quality, or person who we let go of….
Don’t be like Rachel in Voices of Angels who leaves it far too late to let go of her anger toward her own mother.
What do you need to let go of today?
With love & smiles,
Hannah

Unleash Your Authentic Voice
My Unique 6-week Online ...
Unleash Your Authentic Voice
My Unique 6-week Online Writing Course
Presented By Award Winning Author, Hannah M. Davis
“A heart felt thank you for a fantastic course. It was exceptional and full of value. Where I was I writer before, you will have made me into a published writer. THANK YOU!!!!!!
– Mirjam Botman
Dear Aspiring Novelist,
Have you ever wanted to write a novel but didn’t know where to start?
Or maybe you have started but got stuck. Maybe you’ve got half a dozen unfinished manuscripts lurking about your house.
Or perhaps you just can’t find a writing course that suits your needs – not just the how to write stuff, but how to write a book which is an expression of the real you.
Then I invite you to join me as I share the sacred principles of expressing your soul’s voice with practical, nuts & bolts advice on writing your dream novel
My 6-week online writing course, Unleash Your Authentic Voice, comes straight from the heart and is probably one of the most unique writing courses out there! Where else would you find spiritual practices – how to find your soul’s voice – mixed with common sense nuts and bolts advice on writing.
This is for aspiring novelists and people writing memoirs or their life story only.
So if you deeply, sincerely, passionately want to write a novel which is an expression of the authentic you and you think mentoring from me would be a wise move AND you want all this in a friendly supportive group environment then join me for the ride. . . .
About Me
If you are reading this then you might know a little bit about me already but in case you don’t I’m going to quickly explain why running this course is so important to me and hopefully why it will be important to you too.
Like many aspiring authors, my dream was to be a published author and in July of last year, this dream finally came true. My debut novel, Voices of Angels was published by an exciting new imprint called Soul Rocks Books and is now on sale in paperback and e-book version.
To date it has received 28 5-Star reviews on Amazon, been endorsed by Doreen Virtue and an assortment of high profile young adult authors and in June of this year I was voted Author of The Year at the Women Inspiring Women National Awards.
But for me, I don’t write for the external recognition.
I write because I want to inspire my readers.
And if you really want to know what makes my heart sing – then it’s the emails I receive from women (of all ages!) and teenagers from all around the world telling me how much my book has helped them, has inspired them and who thank me for writing it.
(Wouldn’t you liked to be thanked for writing your book?!)
But get this. It’s one thing having an inspired idea to write but another thing entirely to actually sit down and create an inspirational story!
Although I believe all good ideas come from the soul, I also believe that good writing comes with training. That’s why when I wrote my book, I made sure I got all the mentoring I could get. I joined writing groups, online and offline, I hired editors, I paid for mindset coaching to take anyway any limitations I thought were blocking me, I paid for critiques, I went to workshops and courses, I paid for more critiques, I got a party of trusted friends to read it for me and then when I thought I didn’t even need any more help, I got some more mentoring ….
I spent thousands of pounds and it still took me FIVE years to write my book!
I made so many mistakes and wasted so much time and money. If only someone had bundled up everything I know now and given it to me back than at a price I could easily afford!
And that’s why I’ve created this course. I don’t think a book needs to take five years to bring into manifestation (five months maybe) and whilst I agree that investment is a wise move and I’ll come to that in a bit, I don’t think you need to break your bank balance along the way!
The truth is I’m passionate about helping other writers break through their blocks, get over their fears and unleash their true authentic writing voices out into the world.
I’m also committed to helping you avoid all the mistakes I made that cost me so many wasted years! There are a whole multitude of common writing mistakes that every single aspiring writer I see falls into. And it’s my job to steer you away from these!
And I can guarantee by the end of this course you’ll have the first 3 chapters of your dream novel in your hand (at the very least!) and the rest of your book outlined all in the space of 6 short weeks.
And you’ll make some pretty cool friends too.
So let me help you write your book and make your dreams come true.
The day when, like me, your book arrives in the post for the first time, and you rip off the packaging and finally hold your book in your hot little hands for the very first time!
And best of all, it will be a book true to you and by that I mean the book your soul wants to share with the world.
“You have taught me how to banish my fears and tap into my soul to find my authentic voice. Your knowledge and feedback, along with the wonderful support of the group, gave me both the courage and the tools to just go for it. The course is so unique in it’s structure, and packed full of guidance – you have created something really special.” – Christine Lalouani
I’m Not Just An Award Winning Author!

I also want you to know you’re in safe hands. Here are some facts about me:
I spent 5 years as a professional reader for various high profile and reputable film & theatre companies including The Almeida Theatre, Robert Fox, Casarotto & ICM
A reader is someone who reads all the spec scripts (the slush pile) and decides whether to pass them onto the producer or agent, or turn them down.
I was the person who wrote all the no letters. (Don’t worry, my letters were always nice!)
I’ve taught English to classrooms in Costa Rica, Spain and England (I say this because a lot of writers who run courses have very little teaching practice. It’s one thing knowing how to write and another knowing the best way of passing on this knowledge!)
I ran a writing group in the south of Spain for nearly 7 years – a group in which 70% of the members are now professionally published
I’ve worked with hundreds of aspiring & professional writers one-to-one and helped many get agents for the first time, achieve their first ever publication, and/or sell their books to publishers
“I worked with Hannah when I wrote my book Remembering Perfection. I had the basic idea for the book but no structure or method to create something of value. Hannah’s approach really helped me work out what I wanted to say and how. I highly recommend working with Hannah if you feel you have a book inside you and no idea how to unleash it.” Jessica McGregor Johnson, Author of Remembering Perfection & The Right T-Shirt
I’m not a big fan of listing all my credentials but the reason I did that is because I want you to know you’re in safe, professional hands with a track record of success.
So enough about me…. what about the course?!
What Makes This Course Unique?
The truth is there are already quite a few writing courses out there. If you really wanted to you could write your book in 90 days, one month or even a weekend. That’s if you wanted to write your book fast and by following a system.
But I’m guessing if you’ve read this far, then this kind of course doesn’t speak to you…
I’ve got nothing against writing fast by the way, because I certainly do agree that first drafts ought to be written quickly.
But here’s the thing. I don’t have a ‘formula’ or a ‘system’ that is cookie cutter style, i.e. one style fits all. I don’t do systems. There you go. I’m intuitive, impulsive and I go with the flow.
And that’s what I believe makes the best writing too!
I sincerely believe writing is one of the truest and most authentic ways we, as human beings have, to connect with source. By source I mean whatever higher self you believe in – The Universe, angels, God etc. I believe the best writing is when we get our Selves out the way and let the magic come in.
Of course, I’ll cover all the nuts and bolts that any decent writing course will offer but what makes me different is the focus on how to write a book which is aligned to your greater purpose, your vision and your self-expression in life.
It will be a book written from your intuitive self and true to your soul’s calling. A book true to you.
And here’s the best bit, when you write from this place you automatically stand out!
You always hear agents and publishers talking about finding original voice. But what is voice? It’s the way a book is written. It’s what makes it stand out from the other books. It’s what makes a book unique.
And that voice doesn’t come from following a formula telling you how to write. It doesn’t come from trying to write a book within a certain time frame.
This voice comes from your own inner riches.
It comes from your soul.
“Although I am not a beginner, I feel that writing a book is always a new adventure and your course made me look again at the fundamentals of writing. I recommend the course to any aspiring writer and to refresh what one assumes one knows. Besides that, I was enchanted by the way the course brought people together. Not planned, but you made people connect and I loved it!” – Albert Wauquier
How To Know If My Course Is Right For You
Only your intuition and inner voice will know if this is right for you. But I say if this course speaks to you on some level, then please do not hesitate and let some inner demon of a voice tell you can’t do it or it’s not the right time. (This is the very same voice which will tell you that you can’t write and that your book is rubbish! NEVER give in to this voice!)
Believe me there is NEVER a right time to write a book; you just have to take the plunge and dive in. The best thing is once you start writing you will find the time. I promise.
Also check out the following questions and see if you answer YES to any of them:
Have you always wanted to write a novel but don’t know where to start?
Have you already tried to write a novel but hit a brick wall and don’t know how to continue?
Have you already written one or more novels but want more guidance and group interaction this time round?
Do you know you have something inside of you that you want to express even if you have never written anything before in your life but know the time is now?
Please note: This course is best suited (although not restricted to) people who either consider themselves spiritual (in whatever context – I’ll leave that one up to you!) or want to write something which is more of a soul’s expression for you, maybe something you want to share with the world which comes from deep within you, something which has a bit of soul and swagger to it and is not just a book.
At the very least, you will open to connecting with your inner source and be up for a bit of magic happening in your life.
How To Unleash Your Authentic Voice – Course Content
Valued at: £1,350
The format of the course is 6 x 90 minute webinars. These were recorded earlier this year in my inaugural Unleash Your Authentic Voice Course which means you can listen to them at your own time, at your own pace whenever you want.
You don’t need to be technically advanced or anything as each webinar is easy to download. All you need is an internet connection so you can download them and then 90 minutes of your time.
I’m mixing live action (see bonuses below for that!) with these recordings but just in case you’re wondering why I am not delivering these 6 webinars live – the reason is this man:
Chris is the love of my life and my future husband. We are due to wed in just 8 weeks time and if anyone has ever prepared for a wedding before, then you’ll know it’s pretty darn full on!
So because I want to get the tools of the course into the hands of as many people as possible so we can start to create positive change with our books I’d like to offer your the recordings at a hugely discounted rate meaning I get time to focus on my wedding and you get an amazing price and the time and space to do the course whenever you want.
And then I get to deliver some hum-dinging LIVE bonuses on top of that. (See below!)
Ultimately, the webinars are so jam-packed full of content it doesn’t really matter if they’re live or not. Many of my previous group have told me they need to listen to the call at least 2 times to absorb it all. So take your time with it and savour the space to do it at your own pace.
So without further ado, here’s a more detailed look at what to expect in the 6 webinars:
Week 1: Finding The Muse
The 3 biggest mistakes new writers make & how to avoid them
A simple meditation to uncover your inner well of creative abundance
How to prepare your sacred writing space so it works for you
Suggested daily connection practices with your soul
How to identify, find and befriend your original voice
By the end of week one, you will be connected to your inner voice, know everyone else in the group and more importantly, be writing daily.
Week 2: Laying The Foundations
How to choose an idea which is authentically you & resonates with your passion
The importance of knowing who you are writing to & how to connect with your readers
How to position your novel on the shelf (it’s imperative you do this before you start writing)
The 7 deadly fears of writing (understanding which one you have is key to unlocking any creative blocks you might have)
How to create a fully formed 3-dimensional characters your readers will fall in love with

PLUS 3 AMAZING BONUSES!
Bonus 1: LIVE 60 Minute Q&A Group Webinar
Valued at: £300
I told you I would include something live! Here’s a 60-minute live group webinar to connect with me and each other energetically and ask my advice on anything specific which has come up for you.
I’m including this extra live bonus (which wasn’t available the first time I ran this course) because I really really want to see you succeed and by having some private access to me, you can ask any questions you want! I charge £300 for an hour of my time so I hope you can see the value in this one.
Bonus 2: Free 2-Month Trial Membership to My Online Facebook Writing Group
Valued at: £47 a month
My online writing group is hidden in a private group on Facebook and is probably one of my favourite spaces in the world! Alongside listening to the 6 webinars in the main course content, you will have in addition a magical, loving, supportive space to meet fellow writers and I recommend you hang out there a lot!
This is the space to connect with other writers on the same journey as you, share any challenges, brag about the good days, show off your best lines and ask me any question you want.
Most people LOVE the group and it’s their highlight of the entire course!
With your membership you have 24/7 unlimited access to me, the chance to upload short segments (500 hundred words max) of your book for instant feedback from me and if that wasn’t enough …. for members of my private group I also offer 1 x 90 minute LIVE webinar a month!
So that basically means you get an extra 180 minutes LIVE time with me.
Here’s what Christine has to say about the group:
“Hannah provides instant trouble-shooting, engaging posts, exercises and links, all tailored to our evolving needs. Another highlight of this group is the ongoing camaraderie and support: there is nothing but mutual respect and constructive criticism, fantastic positive energy and the all-round cheerleading of a bunch of generous-spirited individuals.”
(Please note, after the 2 months free membership has ended you will have the option of whether you wish to stay in the group as a paid member and there are various levels of this according to your needs)
Bonus 3: MP3 Tap Into Your Soul Audio Visualisation Created by Marilyn Devonish
Valued at: I seriously cannot put a value on this as I believe this one tool will unlock your original voice! But for monetary sake let’s say £97
Specifically created by MARILYN DEVONISH, NLP practitioner, Hynopsis Practitioner and Huna Practitioner, Marilyn has created a bespoke audio visualisation solely for the members of this course. Recorded in 2 parts, (explanation and process) listen to this visualisation each time you sit down to write to clear your blocks and connect to your inner creativity and the magic in your soul.
GOLD, PLATINUM or DIAMOND ELITE?
For budgetary reasons I am offering 3 levels – Gold, Platinum or Diamond Elite.
But first let’s talk investment. Do you really need to invest in your writing?
I think these days most savvy writers know that investing in your writing is par for the course.
Every single agent or publisher receives hundreds of manuscripts per week (I should know because I worked in one of these very same agencies and the “slush pile” was huge!).
What this means is any tiny mistake you make – be it in structure, characterisation, plot or even just how you present your novel – is going to mean an instant rejection.
You really need to be on top of your game and beyond that to make an impact.
That’s why it pays NOW to invest in your writing rather than pay later with rejection after soul-destroying rejection. Or spending hundreds of pounds on a critique which basically tells you to rewrite the whole manuscript which might take months.
And even if you’re intending to self-publish, you still need to stand out from the half a million other books on Amazon and looking unprofessional just will not cut it.
(Believe me the average reader is hard to please and will pick up on even the tiniest of errors and give you a scathing 1-Star review in the process…)
So just like any other craft, it pays to learn the tools.
So now you know why you need to invest, let’s look at the investment packages and see which one suits you!
GOLD
Is all 6 90 minute webinars of Unleash Your Authentic Voice plus the 3 bonuses. In case you’ve forgotten anything, I’ll recap for you:
6 x 90 min live webinars (that’s 540 minutes worth of content!)
Bonus 1 – LIVE 60 Minute Group Q & A With Me
Bonus 2 – 2 Free Months Trial Membership To My Private Facebook Group which includes 1 x 90 minute LIVE webinar per month
Bonus 3 – Tap Into Your Soul Audio Visualisation from Marilyn Devonish(MP3)
Although I charge a minimum of £300 per one hour session to work one to one with me, all of the above (that’s over 10 hours of time with me!) comes with the gob-smackingly good price-tag of just £197.
The reason for it being so affordable is for the reasons I stated earlier – that the actual course is delivered to you as recordings. When I run this 100% live you’d be looking at a price tag of £397 and that’s IF I run it again anyway as next year I am planning babies with my future hubbie so who knows what will happen!
So if you want to take advantage of this low price, invest now. It’s as easy as clicking on the Pay Now Button at the bottom of this page.
But if you want to be a little bit more indulgent, then I’ve got something else up my sleeve for you….
PLATINUM
Platinum is all of Gold PLUS a detailed written critique from me on the first 3 chapters of your novel (double spaced). So basically you’re getting my award winning expert opinion on your writing!
So in addition to everything you get with Gold, you also get:
I will read your first 3 chapters and provide extensive written feedback for you highlighting your strengths and weaknesses and giving you some private guidance (worth £300 alone)
Platinum is an investment of £397. Payments also upfront and to my paypal account. Again, just click on the Pay Now Button below. (Please write to me if you want an installment option – 3 payments max).
And finally…..my Diamond Elite.
This is for the serious, committed, 100% determined to be successful writer who wants the full range of what I can offer you. You’ll know this is for you if you’re prepared to do anything not just to write your book but also get your book published.
DIAMOND ELITE
Diamond Elite is ALL of Gold PLUS a detailed written critique from me on your first 3 chapters, your synopsis and your covering letter. You also get a 30 minute audio Q & A from publisher, Alice Grist, sharing all her tips on how to get your book noticed AND I’ll send you my very own agent/publisher email template letter so you can submit your manuscript with confidence.
And if that wasn’t enough, I’m also offering 2 x one to one 60 minute mentoring sessions with me!
So basically you’re getting my award winning expert opinion on your writing AND 180 minutes of private mentoring sessions with me!
So let’s recap.
I will read your first 3 chapters, synopsis and covering letter and provide written feedback for you highlighting your strengths and weaknesses and giving you some private guidance (worth £400 alone)
2 x 60 minute one to one private mentoring calls with me (worth £600)
A 30 minute recorded Q&A with publisher Alice Grist, of Soul Rocks Books – answering all the publishing questions you want! (you can’t put a price on this type of information)
An agent/publisher template letter to help with your submission (worth £47)
You might think that with a value of well over £2,000 Diamond Elite is going to be out of your league.
You’d be wrong.
I’m committed to helping writers and making my prices affordable. That’s why Diamond Elite is an investment of just £497 and considering that includes £600′s worth of one to one time with you, then I hope you can see the value!
Again, just click on the Buy Now Button below. (Please write to me if you want an installment option – 3 payments max).
“ I can’t recommend this course enough for any aspiring writer. Not only for the brilliant content but for the fact that you will have direct access to Hannah, who’s gentle encouragement and in depth knowledge of the business will lead you on your own exciting path to writing your book.” – Amanda Walden

“I joined one of Hannah’s classes over four years ago, and straightaway trusted she knew what she was talking about. Her critiques are clear, and she will pick out a specific point and explain why it doesn’t work and make suggestions for improvement. There’s nothing ‘woolly’ about her comments. She’s also got a wicked sense of humour!“ Jan Sprenger, Author

My 100% Guarantee
I’m passionate about this course and 100% believe it will work magic for you just like it worked magic for the previous participants, but if by any chance by 30 days from the purchase date and you’ve been giving it all you got but you still you don’t feel it’s flowing for you and you haven’t written a single thing, all you need to do is tell me honestly, say you’ve given it your best shot and I’ll give you a full refund.
Are You Ready To Unleash Your Authentic Voice?
So if you are ready to write your first 3 chapters, discover some of my best writing tips, meet some fellow companions (and soon to be friends!) on the same writing journey as yourself, and you really really want to get in touch with your soul and find that original voice of yours then I can’t wait to see you on the course, get to know you and help you on your journey to unleashing your authentic voice.
I hope you and your soul are ready to share its voice with the world!
Can’t wait to see you soon.

PPS If you’re one of the first 6 you get an extra 120 minutes of content from me absolutely free!
“Thank you for a fabulous course, I’ve loved every minute of it and wish it was longer!”
– Jeneivieve Turner
“I knew that my soul wanted to say something and so I got on board, what I didn’t expect was how much my soul needed the words I wrote during the six weeks of the course. Hannah has created a beautiful and safe space for us all in the group to share and encourage each other to be who we are truly meant to be, to tell a story and to live the Hero’s journey. I would recommend this course to anyone who has the desire to write a book and find out what this course can do for you. I write every day now, for at least two hours, I didn’t know I could write a novel and it’s like the novel is writing itself!” – Swan Treasure
“I worked with Hannah when I wrote my book Remembering Perfection. I
had the basic idea for the book but no structure or method to create
something of value. Hannah’s approach really helped me work out what I
wanted to say and how. I highly recommend working with Hannah if you
feel you have a book inside you and no idea how to unleash it.”
Jessica McGregor Johnson, Author of Remembering Perfection & The Right T-Shirt

June Newsletter – Be Inspired!
Hello!
Welcome to June’s newsletter and today’s theme is inspiration. What I learned this month is when we aim high, we achieve – even if that goal or dream seems out of reach.
When I first got nominated for the Author Award from the Women Inspiring Women National Awards my first thought was – I’d love to win that!
And then as the competition went along a few doubts started to creep in particularly when I saw the standard of the writers I was up against. I started to think “I’ll never win this” “These people are much more deserving than I am” “they’ve written more books than me” “They’ve got stronger stories than me” etc etc
And then I caught the internal chatter. Why were they more deserving and what is deserving anyway?
I realised I was buying into the same self doubt that Lizzie Fisher bought into and I also realised it was time for me to walk my talk.
We all are all enough. We are all worthy. We all deserve to win.
So armed with that resolution I reset the intention to win and told myself I did deserve it.
And guess what happened?
I WON!
So where in your life do you still listen to that internal chatter and how can you turn the volume down on him or her, so you can reach out and make your dreams come true?
With love & smiles,
Hannah

April Newsletter:
In this month’s updates from author & writing mentor Hannah M. Davis, here’s what to expect:
Welcome – The Engagement Parties!
Behind The Scenes – Latest news!
Featured Article – 5 Ways to get the Most out of Spring
Out & About- Where you can see me in April
Competition Corner – Win an e-copy of Voices of Angels!
Be inspired – Something to leave you feeling good
Welcome!
After last month’s fabulous news (Chris and I got engaged!) this month I’ve been busy celebrating with not one but two engagement parties!!!
A girl can never have enough engagement parties.
The first one was in the UK with our immediate families and close friends – including those who are going to form part of the bridal party. It was a magical night of music, singing, laughter and even a few tears…. The second party was in Spain to celebrate with all our lovely friends who live here. This one was also lots of fun and it’s been wonderful being back here in the sunshine. And I must add at this point huge kudos to my brother who made it to BOTH parties!!!
As I write this newsletter I’m sat watching the London Marathon on television and as always, inspired by the amazing unsung heroes who are out there running for charity. Having run the marathon myself I know just how hard it is. With so much negative news about we can easily forget the true compassion and selflessness of so many people out there so let’s focus on the inspiration in life.

Behind The Scenes
During the past month I’ve been running my inaugural online writing course, How To Unleash Your Authentic Voice. It’s been an amazing experience and a huge well done to everyone who joined me and completed the 1st 3 chapters of your book! As one of the participants said:
“You have taught me how to banish my fears and tap into my soul to find my authentic voice. Your knowledge and feedback, along with the wonderful support of the group, gave me both the courage and the tools to just go for it. The course is so unique in it’s structure, and packed full of guidance – you have created something really special.” – Christine
If you missed out this year and really want to write your dream book, then watch this space as I’ll be releasing the recordings of the course in a few months time. I’m also making plans to write a book of the course and run a monthly mentoring group so keep your eyes peeled!
During my break in Spain, I’ve plotted out book 2 and am excited by the story ahead!!! More details of this next month…
Featured Article: 5 Ways to get the Most out of Spring
Spring is one of my favourite seasons of the year. Traditionally it represents new life and change, exciting regrowth or new business plans after a long hard winter, and feeling hopeful about life again. Since Spring is finally budding to life here in the UK and in Spain, I thought it would be a good time to look at 5 top tips to spruce up your life to maintain our theme of inspiration in today’s newsletter:
1. De-clutter Your House
Spring is a great time to rid your house of last year’s junk. Take some time out of your day to go through your cupboards and be ruthless! Revisit your new year’s goals for 2013 and get rid of everything which does not align to the exciting, big, bold vision you hold for yourself this year.
2. Grow a Plant
Growing something from seed, nurturing the green shoots into life, tending it carefully to make sure it grows up strong and watching it sprout into bloom is no greater metaphor for your dreams. I would put the plant in your house as a reminder of what you can achieve when you put your mind to it.
3. Try Something New
Just as spring brings with it the delicate scent of blossom on the breeze heralding a new dawn, why not try something new in life? If you are running a business then it could the launch of a new product or an update of your website. In life, it could be a new hobby or activity or maybe it’s time to write that book of yours?
4. Try Someone New
Spring is also a great time to expand your social circle as people start to get out and about again. What kind of people do you want to meet? Is it time to join some new clubs so you can start to meet new people with whom you share things in common?
5. Be Grateful
For many, spring is their favourite season and it’s easy to see why. All the beautiful flowers, the smell of the blossom, the hint of summer to come. All these things are easy to take for granted. What things in your life can you be grateful for this springtime?
Summary
This springtime, put a spring into your step and try out something new. You never know, it could be the start of a whole new dawn.
Where You Can Find Me
Since this month I am on a writing retreat the best way to find me is on Facebook where I shall pop up every now and again to give you a progress report.
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hannah-M-Davis/180660834701
Competition Corner

I’ll be announcing the lucky winner in May’s newsletter.
Be Inspired
The inspiration today comes from all the runners in the London marathon who are running to raise funds for charity. I’m humbled and inspired by all your stories and it’s a timely reminder of all that’s good and beautiful in the world.
Until next month….
Stay smiling!
