I extended the squad room, introduced a love interest and off Louise ran investigating mummies that started to appear at iconic London landmarks.(less)

The Case of the Prose and Cons by Iain Benson
"So extra points for sheer creativity on this one. It’s a solid 5 stars for fun.

This popped up in my recommendations despite being the third in a series. I would say you don’t need to read the previous two. Like any good mystery series, you can pick " Read more of this review »
The Case of the Prose and Cons by Iain Benson
"Another genuis book by Iain Benson.

This is the third book in the Louise Sergant detective series, and I think it's my favourite. There's a light-hearted tone surrounding a complex yet well-unravelled plot - none of which I can really mention without " Read more of this review »

"This is a fun detective story with a wink to the X-Files. The supernatural twist works well, and the plot is both compelling and easy to follow. I always love Iain Benson novels and look forward to reading book 2 in the series!"
