New Proofs for Validity of Ancient Scripture and God's Existence
There is NEW and strong evidence that the timeframe of an ancient Worldwide Extinction/Flood was known to Ancient Indian Yogis - and Israelites.
In Short:
Ancient Yoga Literature (and the Bible in brief) contains a detailed description of worldwide continental flooding and a worldwide extinction that relates closely to the 'Permian-Triassic' Extinction known to science.
Science says:
1. Permian-Triassic extinction nearly wiped out all life on Earth.
2. It was related to volcanism and followed by continental flooding.
3. The extinction occurred about 250 million years ago.
4. Some life forms survived that repopulated earth thereafter.
Ancient Yoga Literature similarly says:
1. A worldwide extinction nearly wiped out all life on Earth.
2. It was related to volcanism and followed by continental flooding.
3. The extinction occurred sometime between 429-120 million years ago.

The description in the Bible is brief.
But the description given by ancient Yogis fills in many gaps and converges closely with modern discoveries. The Yogis gave not only the correct environment of the Earth around the ancient worldwide extinction of the end-Permian (volcanism and worldwide flooding), but also the correct timeframe (429-120 million years ago).
I believe this is a beyond chance phenomenon, because there are an infinite range of causes of a worldwide extinction which can be dreamt up through sheer fantasy (e.g. lizards from Mars or ghosts and goblins) and there is an infinite range of wrong timeframes, too - 81 trillion years ago, 8,000 years ago, 76,000 years ago, 27.8 billion years ago - you get the point. But the ancient Yogis didn't do this. They gave volcanism and continental flooding between 429-120 million years ago!
