From the very first page, this book transported me straight into the heart of Punjab—not the touristy, sugar-coated version, but the real one. What unfolds is not a whirlwind, but a slow burn. Their love simmers, hidden beneath chore-shared silences, unspoken empathy, and the occasional flying katori. At its core are Sankalp and Bhavika — he, the disciplined entrepreneur running a prosthetics empire; she, a passionate dental surgeon unafraid to speak her truth. What begins as a formal setup between two opposites soon unfolds into a compelling exploration of love, identity, and resistance — especially the quiet, graceful rebellion of a woman who refuses to trade her career for domesticity.
