After a long career as a behavioral veterinary primatologist traveling the world, I decided to tap into my second career choice from college. Creative writing, because everyone has a story to tell, and who doesn't love a good story. My first two books, a cookbook memoir, and a historical novella paid homage to Williamsburg Brooklyn, and the people that made it what it is today. How it evolved from immigration to modernization. Eight extraordinary individuals came together to tell their stories about growing up in Brooklyn during a time of trolly cars and the pre-WWII era.
