Lorena Laurenti nasce qualche decennio fa in un paesino tra Italia e Slovenia. Fin dalla tenera età capisce che nel suo futuro ci sarebbe stato il disegno. Inizia all'asilo, quando, per nascondersi dagli altri bambini, si rifugia tra fogli e pastelli. Alle elementari cominciano le turbe psichiche e appare il suo primo amico immaginario: una gatta dalle sembianze umane alta un metro e ottanta. Forse è proprio da quel momento che immagina l’esistenza di altri mondi. Tra la sua bici/cavallo, l’insistente desiderio di volare (che la spinge a bizzarri tentativi pseudo-mortali) e i pomeriggi a guardare le maghette alla televisione, passano gli anni.
