Thoughts from a cluttered desk...
Its always interesting how the world around us tries to make everything we see as organized as possible and yet in our own minds it is as conflicted as can be. Even as I write this I am trying to decide between writing and editing, both are productive, but which weighs more...who knows.
Tonight I look upon my small piece of the world and wonder with curiosity as to whether or not anyone else is doing this very same thing. I look at the world as nothing more than story inspiration at times. Let the words flow like water, only at the end of the story can one fully judge their work. Tonight, I judge my work like everyone else, I will grab a nice cup of tea and read. I know my following is small, but thank you all the same. Please be sure to check out Oath Sagas on Facebook, were going to be doing some fun giveaways here in the next few months. I am also looking for an artist to bring my cover ideas to life, their prize is leather bound editions of all my books, individually numbered.
Until next time my friends. May the pen glide gently over the page as you let the words whisper in the stillness of the night.

A challenge...
I have found a challenge that I am unsure how to handle. I am a full time employee and a writer. Usually these two things would not cause issues, but the challenge I have been finding lately is...how can I separate them? I try to separate my writing from my work and vice a versa, the challenge has become now planning a mini-book tour in April. Any thoughts how people have managed to keep these two sides of their lives separate?

Thoughts from the pages of writing
I found myself reading through my copy of Guardian's Oath today when it seemed to hit me. I write for the enjoyment of spreading my creations as well as to have fun, but I am constantly trying to answer questions that seem to have no answers. My newest novel asks a question that I am afraid to know, "how far would you go?" I thought about this question as I looked at my girlfriend, I couldn't answer the question for its to personal. I am not sure if I would go as far as my main character did or not, its a question that is best left unanswered and yet its still such an interesting question all the same. Please send me your thoughts.

Announcement...
I am announcing two new books that will be released by March 2013. The first will be launched hopefully by December 2012.
I am announcing my first Mystery Novel: Silent Paws, slated for first release December 2012. Detective Nathan Ross and his four legged friend go on the trail of a killer trying to create a masterpiece of death. Nathan's only clues are a key and a cryptic phone call pointing him to an old case from his past. I will be giving away four autographed copies.
Dragon's Oath will bring you to the world of Syntheria where all the Guardians except for one has been slain. He will bring forth the most ancient knowledge of his dragon companion to bear against an evil that has never seen the light of day. Release date March 2013. Four autographed copies as well as a teaser for the newest Demon Handler Novel.

Who are you?
Such a simple question and yet such a hard question to answer. I find myself coming back to the same question in my writing, how can you answer a question that has no real answer? This is something that is hard to ponder, for it depends on what the intention of the question is. How can you answer such a philosophical question? If you have any ideas I would love to hear them.

Come get lost in the pages...
Have you ever had one of those moments where you sure you know what is going on and yet your not really sure? I confess I have been having some of those moments lately. I recently stepped away from writing for a little bit due to issues with employment as well as writers block...lol go figure. Its interesting to look at things and wonder if the path i have chosen is the one that I really want to be on. Every time I allow these thoughts to surface, I just look at all that I have achieved and say with confidence that I have made the right choices in life. The lost path is the choice that is not made, it can be as simple as should I go the soup or salad, or a life changing decision. Honestly I cant give the answers to life for I am still looking for them all, the only thing I know the truth about it this...I never would be even close to where I am now without support of friends and family. I confess I write because it makes me happy, not for the money. people read because they like to get lost in a world that they can only dream of. All I can say is I like reading and writing for it keeps my mind young and I love the idea of taking the path into hell one moment and laughing so hard I'm crying the next. Only in the printed word will we ever truly find a world that is beyond the one we can search for.

Interesting...
So something new came up today. A thought and a realization that I had never considered before. The question is simple to sate and yet hard to comprehend...sex. No I am not talking about the stuff you read in XXX books or in 50 Shades of Gray. I am talking about writing it into a story. How much is too much and how can you really express it while also keeping it appropriate for all ages. This is a challenge that is hard to figure out. In my own personal opinion I think hints are the best way to go, that way the reader can use their imagination or not and wont take offense either way. This is still an interesting subject to walk around though. I welcome comments and suggestions.
Another thing is...I found a great way to pay very cheap rates to send books overseas to winners of the drawing. For those that are writing or going to be writing, as at your local post office for "Media Mail Rates" it saved me more than $50.00 overall.

Thoughts
I was once asked a question with no real answer. "What drives you each day?" Such a question is open to interpretation by each person. The only answer I can think of still after nearly three years of contemplation is COFFEE!!! Just kidding, what drives me is each night when I return home from work, I look at my life and the day that I have had and I thank God for it. Each day is a new inspiration for what is to be written or what is to be seen around me. I offer only one idea to the world in general and it is an idea that few understand. Enjoy life as a whole, the road of life is not always smooth, but it is what we make of it.
Up to this point I have only been an author, but recently I have become a poet as well. Philosophy is another one of my vices, but all it boils down to is the same idea...happiness. Only do what makes you happy for only then you can say your really enjoying everyday to its fullest.
I invite those of you who read my blog or read my works or just follow me to comment. It has been sometime since I engaged in a good rousing debate and would relish the challenge.

A thought...
A thought has crossed my mind, well a lot of thoughts always cross my mind, but few stay. I have found myself realizing how quickly things can happen either for the good or for the bad. I have been notified that I will be published as a poet now as well as being an author. I do not post this looking for people to tell me "congrats" its more to tell everyone out there that no matter what, always pursue your dreams. Its always fun to try things that you don't think you have a talent for, just having fun with things brings your natural talent out. Looking to those around you as well for inspiration or for support when you feel like you are faltering, family and friends are always there. i guess what I am saying by this random, note is never be willing to let anything step in your way when your willing to fight for it. This is a place where enthusiasts of the printed word in all forms can gather and its here that I want to thank everyone for helping each other.
