"Nice general history of the three ships with gorgeous visuals. I've followed some of these artists for years and it's nice to finally see their work in a book."

Jessica's review
of
Recreating Titanic and Her Sisters: A Visual History:
"This is a very cool concept and is executed perfectly. The art is balanced with photos and the subject matter was approached with respect. My favorite was actually the Olympic covered in dazzle. Highly recommended for Titanic and maritime history fan"

Nipun Fernando's review
of
Recreating Titanic and Her Sisters: A Visual History:
"As an ocean liner fanatic, I enjoyed this book. The Titanic started my obsession with ocean liners. It was wonderful seeing artists using computers, canvas and other art techniques to bring Titanic and her sisters to life."

“The discussion proceeded very similarly to the first, although this time things were a bit more technical in nature. The advantage of using the new Welin davits was clear: by installing them right from the start, there would be ‘no expense or trouble’ in case the Board of Trade imposed new regulations ‘at the last minute’.79 Then the conversation turned once more to other matters. There had never been any discussion about the number of boats that the ships would actually carry80 – that was being left entirely to what requirements the Board of Trade had in place when they entered service.”
