After a career as a data analyst for NASA, a programmer, and a software saleswoman Sandy Hill took on a second career. She married Gene and became an instant mom to a daughter and a son. In retirement, she launched into a third career as a children's writer. Today, she delights in sharing time with four grandchildren. Sandy and her husband create award-winning photographs and enjoy sailing Puget Sound near their home in Washington. She and Gene are directors of www.Freedom13.org, an organization dedicated to ending trafficking of our children. Profits from all her books are donated to make their dream come true, "No child trafficked ever!"

A panel of experts reviews each book, followed by a panel of children who give their opinion. Two thumbs up and its monster approved for children to devour. It's a sweep, all four of Sandy's books are Story Monster Approved.
