Meatballs

1 lbs. ground pork

6 slices bacon, chopped small

3 tbsp. green onions, diced

1 tbsp. fresh ground ginger

1 tbsp. soy sauce

1 tbsp. tart juice (cherry, cranberry)

¾ cup Panko bread crumbs

¼ tsp. white pepper

½ tsp. salt

Canola oil for frying

 

Sauce

1 ½ cups water

First, for becoming my "friend" on GoodReads
and second, for your recommendations re: historical fiction. I love historical fiction, too. In fact, I am writing the third book in a series about the Rocky Mountains from 1840 to the present day. It's great fun. I love doing the research and then layering it into a family "love" story. Not so much the romance genre, but more the history of love and commitment through out several generations.
