First blog post
Hey there, friends!
First off—thank you for stopping by, for picking up Redemption’s List, and for letting Jack and Rylen into your world. This story started as an idea I thought about for twenty years before I wrote it down. As a mom of three, I wrote most of it from the hours of 11 pm to 1 am.
Fun fact: I’m pretty sure I haven’t slept properly in two years. Coffee and sheer stubbornness have kept me alive. And I now believe there's something about walking around Costco that sparks sheer creativity.
When I sat down to write, I didn't know where these characters would take me- just that they wouldn’t shut up until I got their story down. Watching it come together was equal parts magical and messy, and getting to share it with you has been one of the best experiences of my life. I also got to make it go live on Amazon with my editor. This book is my heart and soul. And I am so happy many of you have loved it as much as I do.
And now for the news I’ve been dying to tell you: there’s going to be a sequel!
Yep, Jack and Rylen aren’t done yet (and I’m not done torturing them either 😉). They’ve got more sparks to reignite, more troubles to triumph and probably a few more bad decisions to make before they figure things out. Can love survive it all?
I hope to bring everything you loved about the first novel back and turn Jack and Rylen's love story up a notch. 😁
So, thank you again for reading, reviewing, recommending, or just cheering me on from the sidelines. You’ve made all those long, sleep-deprived nights worth it, and I can’t wait to share the next chapter of their journey with you.
With love and a whole lot of stuff from Costco,
-JRL
