Roger Keevil was born and educated in Southampton, U.K. Having moved to Spain in 2006, he devised and began to write a series of light-hearted short stories featuring his detectives, Inspector Andy Constable and Sergeant Dave Copper, eventually deciding to develop one of his stories into his first full-length novel, 'Feted to Die' (later re-titled 'Murderer's Fete'). Returning to the U.K. in 2009, he published the second Inspector Constable mystery, 'Juan Foot In The Grave' (later re-titled 'Murder Unearthed') in 2012, and in 2013 he launched Inspector Constable's third investigation - 'Death Sails In The Sunset' - set aboard a cruise ship.
