Seattle artist David Lasky co-authored the graphic novel "Carter Family: Don’t Forget This Song," which won comics’ Eisner Award in 2013. El Deafo honored

I was proud to be the colorist of Cece Bell's "El Deafo" even before it started winning awards. It's a truthful, funny memoir of Cece's childhood, and helps readers understand what it can be like to live with hearing loss.
