Next Book
Hi there,
I am so fortunate to have readers ask me when the next book will come out. The answer, finally, is July. A summer book set in the leafy, green and white woods of Iceland.
I'm working hard to write the most poetic and epic conclusion to Brosa's and Eðna’s story. And I'm a slow writer. I write in stolen hours and snippets of time on the bus or in cafes. I write slower than I run, which is saying something.
So, planting a flag and naming a certain date is scary. But there it is. July.
I appreciate you all sticking with me and being open to the next part of this story. As Eðna begins to see the world in a very different way. I'm excited to show you this summer.

So Wild A Dream available now
I'm so excited to release So Wild A Dream. Thank you for all your notes and encouragement this year. I hope that you enjoy this next book set in Ginn's world.
So Wild A Dream is part one of a two-book story set in the 10th century "White Woods" first seen in Beautiful Wreck.
So Wild A Dream can be purchased
on amazon: http://amzn.to/2dvWUkH
on b&n: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/books...
on itunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/book/so-w...
The story:
Eðna Jonsdottir is on a mission. Touch down in 10th century Iceland, gather what she needs regardless of the consequences, and return to the 22nd century, becoming the world’s first time machine test pilot. Falling in love isn’t on the checklist.
Brosa Ulfsson is handsome, capable, easygoing – or he was until tragedy and grief swallowed him. Eðna coaxes him from the grave and wakens his forgotten dreams. But she has no intention of staying in his Viking world.
Svana is a young woman set on vengeance. With a curse and plea to the gods, she kindles the flames of an old feud and explodes everyone’s plans, driving Eðna to a fateful choice.
How far into the wilds of the past will Eðna go to save Brosa, when her own dreams hang in the balance?
Thanks so much! I hope you love it.

What does your hero smell like?
Every romance writer has tried to capture it... their hero's sexy scent. Some simply smell like "man," but usually a hero smells like two evocative things that, together, make readers swoon.
You can check out your guy, and try lots of names with this little generator I've been working on.
If you have fun with it, please share!

What would you call Tress?
It's hard to know what to call Tress - my romantic-horror-fairytale novella. I finally decided it's Gothic, and I love that. It makes me want to write even more dark, romantic, creepy and fearsome tales.
I'm thrilled that Dabney from All About Romance loved the book and rated it a "Desert Isle Keeper." She wrote, "The only words I didn't love about this novella were 'The End.'"
My fellow time-travel author N.J. Layouni calls it "a deliciously dark tale worthy of The Brothers Grimm."
What do you think? I'd love to see your reviews and hear from you.
The book is now available as an e-book in several places (list below.)

Tress is here.
Hi there. I have some news I'm excited about. I'm happy to let you know that my novella Tress is available for pre-sale on amazon for kindle.
http://amzn.to/1dtRKTZ
A beautiful print version as well as e-books on other platforms are coming soon.
Tress is a new kind of story for me - a genre-crossing romantic-horror-gothic-fairy-tale hybrid. I had a wild time writing it, and I am really interested to hear what you think.

Smitten
I'm working away on my second book, and it's an exciting and sometimes excruciating thing, to start again. This time, I know some of the characters, which is both easier and harder. I have so much more knowledge about writing, and about reading, and yet...hmmm...can you be naive if you know you are?
I've written enough now that the second book feels solid, like a real story taking shape. I have so far to go, and yet news. I have a title.
*Sweet to My Eye.*
I am smitten with the fact that this can be shortened as Sweet2ME, because Brosa really, really is all that.

The honest review you ask for
Most writers ask, and eventually readers deliver, but it's always a good chance that negative reviews will be less than supportive in tone. A few times I've had the great experience of a "negative" review that was respectful, kind and even went beyond the call of duty to carefully walk through strengths and weaknesses.
While I won't single it out, I got one such review this morning on Beautiful Wreck.
I can't - or don't want to - write to this person. There is a shared imaginary wall that allows for candid reviews, and I don't want to break it. But I wish I could.
Like several of the other mixed reviews, this person's thoughtfully pointed out techniques and elements that I know are stronger in my second and third books (underway.) It makes me excited to bring something new to readers.
It's strange. I thought I was really thin-skinned, and that being a first time novelist was going to be emotionally difficult. It turns out that the exchange can be a lot better than I expected. How often does that happen?
p.s. Now, on to work on a new cover for the the book -- a new look that will capture the beauty of Iceland and relate to the plan for Book 2! It's all exciting and frightening.
