Just a few notes.

Hello Everyone,

I have to apologize, I have been neglecting my blog for the last 6 months and now have some time to bring it up to date.

To begin with, my third book, Unforeseen Justice, has cracked the top 100 in legal thrillers.  Last time I check it was #76.  Actually ahead of some of Grisham's and Connelly's books.  I have to thank you all for the support.

If you haven't had a chance to check out Unforeseen Justice, I invite you to do so.

If you do have a chance to read it, please be kind enough to leave your review on both Amazon and Goodreads.

I'm in the process of two writing projects.  The first is a follow-up to, Unforeseen Justice.  I haven't come up with a title yet, but will let everyone know it and when the book is available.  The second project is a collaboration with another author, Gail Matelson.  For those of you not familiar with Gail's work, she is a very talented writer of psychological thrillers which incorporates several different genres.  If you haven't read her work, please do so.  Here is her link on Goodreads:https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

The weather here in California is FINALLY starting to cool off.  Who knew summer was now being extended into mid-October.  I hope this El Nino, scientists are predicting, comes.  We need the rain badly.

I would love to hear from you, so please drop me a line and say hello.

Have a great day everyone!

Cheers,

Mike

Unforeseen Justice Now Available on Amazon

Hello Everyone,

My third book, Unforeseen Justice is now available on Amazon. Please check it out.

Here is a brief summary:

Attorney Mark Baxter woke up with a splitting headache trying to remember what happened the night before. His drinking had gotten to the point he was suffering blackouts every night. The only thing he could recall were images of a horrific reoccurring nightmare of a small girl being rapped by his father, but does this have any significance?

Later that morning, Mark learns an ex-girlfriend has been murdered and he has is the number one suspect.

As the investigation heats up, a second girlfriend is found murdered and Mark has no recollection what happened the night before. The evidence begins to mount against Mark and he is arrested for the murder of both women. He is starting to believe he may have committed both murders. Now faced with the possibility of the death penalty and a very aggressive district attorney, Mark hires his ex-commander from the Air Force as his attorney to save his life. Together they have to put on a defense that only the most skilled attorneys can do, but is it enough?

Unforeseen Justice takes the reader through the surprising twists and turns of trial and an ending you won’t see coming.

There is no business you can't find in Los Angeles

I had to take a picture of this advertisement on this mini van, even a little unusual for Los Angeles.

I thought the price of gas was dropping

I recently was in the Studio City/ValleyVillage area of Los Angeles and I passed this gas station.  I had to do a double take at the cost of gas per gallon.  I certainly won't be getting gas there anytime soon.

Just another day driving the Los Angeles freeway system

As I was driving north on I5, I found myself right behind this unusual car.  First it was a DeLoren and second it looked just like the Back To The Future Car.  Nothing surprises me any longer living in Los Angeles.
