The Zone of Interest by Martin Amis

"It has long been obvious that Martin Amis is almost fatally attracted to the more questionable elements of society: from Money to London Fields to the more-recent Lionel Asbo, Amis’s novels are peppered with debased, degradation-drenched characters, dredged from the moral gutter. In Amis’s world, the more morally bankrupt and psychologically unstable, the better."

The rest of my review of Martin Amis's latest, The Zone of Interest, is available on We Love This Book.

Hack Attack: How the Truth Caught Up With Rupert Murdoch

My review of Hack Attack: How The Truth caught Up With Rupert Murdoch by The Guardian‘s investigative journalist, Nick Davies.

I had to work within a limited word count for this review, otherwise I would have said a lot more about it.

In short – this is a very important book. Read it. And boycott red-top tabloids while you’re at it.
