Jason Beacon has had several mini-careers, including journalist, editor, teacher and labourer, and has been known to go missing in the former Soviet Union.
His first book, The President, The Terrorist & The Torturer, was influenced by his time spent living with dervishes in Central Asia. The Absent Lord was written over 10 days whilst stuck in a tent above the snowline.
In 2009 he founded Guerilla Books - an award-winning independent press which publishes thought-provoking writers in a beautiful format.

Albert Einstein
“Try and penetrate with our limited means the secrets of nature and you will find that, behind all the descernible laws and connections, there remains something subtle, intangible and inexplicable. Veneration for this force beyond anything that we can comprehend is my religion. To that extent I am, in fact, religious.”
Albert Einstein

Dan Millman
“You don’t need to control emotion,” he said. “Emotions are natural, like passing weather. Sometimes it’s fear, sometimes sorrow or anger. Emotions are not the problem. The key is to transform the energy of emotion into constructive action.”
Dan Millman, Way of the Peaceful Warrior: A Book That Changes Lives
