I have re-released Eight Days on Amazon. It's now at a lower price, and I hope this brings it to more readers. I also have it on Kindle Unlimited, which seems to be a good way to share a book with as many readers as possible. The paperback can be ordered from Amazon as well. I prefer paper books that I can hold, so I will always do my best to ensure that there are printed versions available too.

I'm not doing a great job keeping up with Goodreads lately, but I do want to share with you that I have a new novel. It's a Western that takes place in Georgia and Colorado. Learn more below:
When the American Civil War ended Confederate officer Robert Ambrose left his fellow soldiers to return to the girl who had haunted his thoughts and dreams for the entirety of the war, but upon arriving home he learned that not only was the cause wrong, so was everything he had hoped to return to. The girl he was to marry was now promised to another, and his former mentor had cheated him. Disillusioned he left his home in River Falls, Georgia for something different: The Colorado Territory of the American West.

Ambrose soon learned that the West was wild and untamed, and despite his effort to find peace and to create a normal and stable world, something continued to pull him toward death and ruin. While the former Confederate soldier made his way through the treacherous territory of Colorado the girl he thought had been lost to him chose to follow him to the West while facing hazards of her own. While they fight to survive and to find meaning in a dangerous and new place they both learn about themselves while always thinking of the other. But will they find each other in an unfamiliar world that is as inhospitable to love as it is to law and order?

My new novel, Eight Days, is set to be released in March of next year. This story follows a man who dies, but before he can pass to eternity he must spend eight days facing the greatest regrets of his life. If he can't deal with what he repressed he won't be able to enter Heaven, and will be stuck in the in-between to wander as a lost ghost.

I’ll be at the ninth annual Dahlonega Literary Festival in November. The festival is held in one of the prettiest places in America, Dahlonega. My heart belongs in North Georgia so I’m excited about mingling with fellow bibliophiles and other authors. I hope to see you there.
