Christopher L. Bennett is a lifelong resident of Cincinnati, Ohio, with a B.S. in Physics and a B.A. in History from the University of Cincinnati. A fan of science and science fiction since age five, he has spent the past two decades selling original short fiction to magazines such as Analog Science Fiction and Fact (home of his "Hub" series of comedy adventures), BuzzyMag, and Galaxy's Edge. Since 2003, he has been one of Pocket Books' most prolific and popular authors of Star Trek tie-in fiction, including the epic Next Generation prequel The Buried Age, the Star Trek: Department of Temporal Investigations series, and the Star Trek: Enterprise -- Rise of the Federation series. Well, I’d settled on keeping the little Blu-Ray player and setting it atop one of my speakers (which don’t seem to get very warm, as I guess they’re big wooden boxes filled mostly with air), so I set it up (after swapping out the long and short HDMI cables, the hardest part of the exercise since they were threaded behind the AV cabinet) and tried it out on a widescreen disc. Christopher Bennett answered Chris Townsend's question: Hi Chris. I love your books that take place between the first two Star Trek movies. Have you considered doing one between Star Trek V and VI? There's a surprisingly small amount of books in this period. I'd be open to it in theory, but it's up to the publisher to commission novels, and there are fewer Trek books being published these days than there used to be. So there's no way of knowing if or when I'd get the chance.
