Bree Housley grew up in the pocket-sized town of Walcott, Iowa, where she started as a Subway Sandwich Artist and worked her way up to a very prestigious waitressing job at the "World's Largest Truckstop." From there, she spent over a decade as an advertising copywriter. She waxed poetic about everything from Pepsi to incontinence. She is currently a freelance writer in Chicago. 10 years. 

Friday marks 10 years since we lost Shelly. While this week will always be inherently sad, I try to focus on the celebration of friendship. And everything she taught me about it. 

So, I'm proud to present...the dumbest-most-awesome fundraiser ever. Shelly and I were all about cheesy 80's/90's music (see a small sample of her collection below) AND terrible movies (we owned Good Burger in college). I Read more of this blog post »
