Michael Patrick Clark was born on The Fourth of July 1950.

He spent the first few years of his life in an orphanage, before adoption brought a new home and a change of name.

Michael joined the armed forces as a boy apprentice. He trained in telecommunications, and subsequently transferred to a specialist mobile-communications unit.

Over the ensuing years he travelled the world; living and working in environments as exotic, hostile, and diverse as the Libyan Desert, Europe, the Australian outback, South-East Asia, and Central and South America.

If I’m in the mood to be distracted, I’m probably not about to write anything worthwhile. I love writing, and so if I’m not in the mood to write, for any reason, I just go with whatever has caused that emotion. I have no idea what people mean by writer's block. We each lack creativity at different times; that’s a human condition. I sometimes think that giving it a fancy title merely prolongs and exacerbates what would otherwise be a temporary blip. (less)

So Jeremy Corbyn is fighting for the soul of the Labour Party is he? Well good for Jeremy, but what he doesn’t seem to realise is that Tony Blair suffocated it years ago. It was wrapped in a red flag and buried up at Highgate Cemetery on the 21st of July 1994. There was a rumour that, in 1997, someone placed a single red rose on the grave and named it The Tomb of the Unknown Socialist, but the ros
