2012 was a pretty good year for me as an author. I wrote 3 books (Ishtar Rising, Hateful Burden and Veil of Ishtar) and 3 erotic short stories. I gave up on big publishing houses and published all my works thanks to Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing. It is hard to believe I started selling only 10 months ago. I have gotten some great reviews and loyal fans and met some supportive new peers. I joined a wonderful group of women who share my love of reviewing romance novels on Satin Sheets Romance Reviews. Thank you all. Happy New Years!
I have seen what Facebook can do for book sales. I decided to see what Goodreads can do. I have been using Goodreads for a while but mostly just for tracking my own reading and writing reviews. Now I am going to try to get active in the Goodreads community. I will suggest my books to groups - if they are a good match. I will figure this site out. November is the month. I am just starting a few days early.
I love this place. I have always been a reader. I would read more but I have this pesky little responsibility called paying the bills! I cannot wait until my writing is something I can rely on as my primary income. Then I can spend my days reading what I want and writing what i think others want. :)
