12 long years

Wow, I can hardly believe it’s been 12 years since Lost, the first Amelia Jones book, hit the shelves. Writing has been a journey of stops and starts—life, work, family, and all the ups and downs in between kept pulling me away. But a few months ago, something clicked. I found my focus and, finally, I’m thrilled to say I finished Echoes, the long-awaited Book 2! It’s now in the editing process, and with any luck, it’ll be ready for you all in just a few months. I’m so proud that Amelia’s voice will once again be heard.

And the inspiration didn’t stop there! I also started writing a brand-new series. This time, it’s Anaya’s turn—a character I first met around the same time as Amelia, but who waited patiently in the wings. Now that Amelia’s story is back on track, Anaya’s ready to tell hers, fangs and all. Stay tuned, there’s so much more to come!

Proof Of Life Post

I can’t believe it’s been almost 3 years since I published my first novel Lost: An Amelia Jones Novel. I’ve written several short stories since then, my last one published almost a year ago, but still no follow up to Amelia Jones. Hopefully that will all change soon and fans of the first book will

Review: Zom-B Bride

Zom-B Bride by Darren Shan My rating: 4 of 5 stars It’s time to admit this series is low-level torture but it hurts so bad… B. Smith once again made me believe one thing in order to do what Becky does best in the end anyway. I love this series and keep telling myself to

Review: The Ancient

The Ancient by R.A. Salvatore My rating: 4 of 5 stars Amazing book and amazing series. The Ancient continues with everything you loved about the Highwayman but kicks up the action and drama by a factor of 10. I’m so happy I read this book, I sprinted through it and immediately reached for the next

Review: The Broken Eye

The Broken Eye by Brent Weeks My rating: 5 of 5 stars OMG WOW!!! There is no other way to describe, review, or speak about this book. It has been a very long time since the ending of a novel had left me completely in shock, but this one surely did. YOU MUST READ this

Review: Crisis on Infinite Earths

Crisis on Infinite Earths by Marv Wolfman My rating: 3 of 5 stars Wasn’t bad and my opinion is biased because I prefer the Marvel Universe, but the dizzying amount of multiple universes and paradoxes gave me a headache making this too hard to enjoy fully. Maybe it’s just me. View all my reviews

Review: Hotter Than Hell

Hotter Than Hell by Kim Harrison My rating: 4 of 5 stars Oh my! This book was everything the title implied and then some! At times I had to pause and steady my breathing, at others I had to stop to take a cold shower, and more often than not, I stopped and gave in

Review: Clans

Clans by Darren Shan My rating: 4 of 5 stars I’ve realized that when it comes to Darren Shan I must be indulging in my masochistic side. This series will be the death of me and though I keep telling myself to wait until its finished before I continue reading, I find myself chasing each

Review: Dead but Not Forgotten: Stories from the World of Sookie Stackhouse

Dead but Not Forgotten: Stories from the World of Sookie Stackhouse by Charlaine Harris My rating: 4 of 5 stars I was a little nervous about reading this book given the last several entries in the series. However, I have to admit, that I was pleasantly surprised and found the book generally good and even
