Tracy Griffen was born and bred in rural South Australia. As a youngster she was very active cycling and hiking around the Adelaide Hills in her spare time.

She moved to Edinburgh over 20 ago, and it took her awhile to adjust to the seasons. Having worked in various freelance jobs (including cooking and journalism) and doing fitness qualifications, she launched Griffen Fitness in 2005. Originally Tracy used to cycle to all of her PT clients, however got a 'bit busy' so opened her fitness studio in Leith in 2010. Her style of fitness includes lots of outdoor exercise, as well as helping clients with realistic nutritional advice.
