I've decided to make the first two books of my series FREE on the Goodreads Browser. I'm hoping you'll get hooked enough that you'll go to Smashwords.com or Kindle to buy the last two books in the series.

I decided to make half my series free to readers. Ebooks only, of course, and only through Smashwords.com and its participating affiliates. Links are on my website. Over the next months, I will have several giveaways which will include the entire four book series in hardcopy.

There is much talk about the quality of work from independents. By making my first two books available for free, readers will be able to determine for themselves if the series deserves the reviews it has gotten.

After writing/editing for seven years, I was finally ready to publish my four book epic adventure, 'The Caves of Etretat'. I wanted to release all four in less than a year and I have done it. In less than one month, the last two books of the series ('The One Book of Etretat' and 'The Greyman')will be out in hardcopy and on Kindle. All four are out on Smashwords.com.

It has been a crazy adventure, full of ups and downs. The wildest came about three weeks ago, with my first professional editor looking at a sample of my work.

There were mistakes.

There were also excellent points. In the end, I decided to leave the series as it was. While not perfect, the story and characters are engaging enough to make you want to read the four books.
The lessons I learned will be practiced in my next novel.

I suspect I will return to edit the series in some distant future. For now, new work beckons.
