Conventional division into types depends on the evolution of bodies and their centers
In order to evaluate yourself you can use a conditional division. There are thousands of such methods - different tests, self-esteems, misleading a man, and he is getting lost. Although in reality, everything is not so complicated. We can distinguish four main types of people depending on the development of one of three active bodies and their relationships. It should be noted that the situation is impossible with the presence of only one body - a man as a species is determined by a combination of all three bodies. Therefore, selecting one of the bodies, we can talk only about his preferential development compared with the others - but not about one hundred percent of domination. The Hindu concept of huns fits close with this - certain qualities of material world. Thus, the physical body corresponds to Tamas - hun of ignorance, sensuous - rajas - hun of passion, and mental - Sattva - hun of goodness. The combination of these three qualities forms the entire manifest world. The same regularity is operating this, coming from the law of the Trinity - only mixing of all three huns as in different proportions can form a phenomenon. In pure form, a manifestation of huns - as well as the existence of bodies - is impossible.
Thus, the first type is primary development of the physical body, or Huns of ignorance. This type is much expressed, and has had a great importance recently, when matters were dealt by stronger people. This type develops when too much attention is paid to physical development, or due to various life circumstances. Remember - there can be nothing wrong in any of the types, just distortion is insane - and no matter which way it is directed. As a result the advantage of the physical body leads to the aggressiveness, because in different situations we have to give way to other types, and thus prove its superiority only by the fact that there is in excess. But there may be other cases, when a person is so strong that need to prove anything is disappearing. The physical body itself is infinitely inert, and in order to move, it needs incentives - either its own needs (hunger, fear, and the like), or the arguments of other bodies. That is why the physical body is associated with a hun of ignorance. However, this body is bearer of what we define as a "person", and in this sense, in a sufficient harmony, it becomes the Temple of the Soul.
The second type is primary development of sensual body. This can be observed among some people of the arts, when a man is so obsessed with creativity, that he forgets about body and mind. These people are constantly under stress because of the contradictory of emotions, they are prone to suicide. In solving the problems of life, they can not use any force or reflection, but because they can not overcome thousands of doubts and emotions. Another striking feature of sensual body is its intermediate "position" between the physical and mental bodies, so it is inevitably a subject of mutual influence. This type is associated with the hun of passion, because sources of all desires and passions are concentrated in feelings and emotions.
And finally, the third type is primary development of the mental body. People of this type make all decisions mostly on the basis of the mind arguments. They are virtually devoid of emotions; do not pay attention to the physical body, directing all available energy on thinking. Hun of goodness is connected with this type, because thinking is a function of the mind, and only under the influence of huns of passion and ignorance, turns or goes to the level of the mind.

Why do we need meditation?

We are continuing getting to know this wonderful state - meditation. Many people ask quite rational question: "Why do I need this?" Life goes on as usual, some problems are solved, new ones come instead, there are new people looking for simple and clear blessings, hoping for good luck - they do not have time to be digressed by such a "philosophical nonsense".
Everything that happens to you in everyday life is the tip of the iceberg, and the immutable laws of energy are basis of it, about which people not only know nothing, but also not even aware of their existence. But these processes affect the lives of every person in the most direct way.
Look around - people are energetically depleted, live in constant fear, they have no confidence not only in the future, but also in its very existence.
Energy is not enough to do the great achievements - the usual problems are solved with great difficulty. All this needs to find a source of energy replenishment. That energy stock, which a person spends on his or her daily activities, is supplemented with food and sleep, and sleep as a natural state is almost lost: a lot of people can not just lie down and sleep, they need help.
Nowadays dream is being lost by mankind - and exactly the same with natural state of meditation it has been lost and forgotten. Returning to the remembrance of it will fundamentally change the energy balance in your life. Maybe in a few decades dream will be forgotten, and people resorting to various stimulation, will ask the question: "Why should I sleep?" There is exactly the same thing with a meditation - it does not need to deal with – it is a part of your being, and, forgetting that part, you're doomed to misery.
Earlier, people were naturally meditative: the proximity to nature and an unhurried pace of life allowed the mind to shut down even while awake. And if so - then the dream was much stronger. That is why our ancestors were energetically far more powerful than the current generation.
The popularity of meditation today is just due to a subconscious search for ways to recall the lost state of connection with Being. People need that niche where they can stay with themselves alone, in the inner silence. Demand creates supply, and there is the mass of schools and teachers, offering to "give meditation." Unfortunately, it is like the case with a dream, anything is impossible to give - the man should remember himself what is his by right.
Imagine a school of sleep or love, where you learn to fall asleep or love ... Is not it nonsense? Inner world and the associated states is a testing ground for individual searches. We can only point you to its presence – but you will have to look for by yourself. This search does not mean acquiring some new skills; it means the loss of all superficial that prevents you to find the inherent inner silence.
Therefore, a question about the need of "doing meditation," says about a lack of understanding the essence of the processes. If some opportunities are hidden in your body, it will be right and worthy for person to discover them and learn how to use. Search of entering into a meditative state is not a distraction from the affairs and concerns. Your body can work on batteries some time (that happens everywhere), but you must find a way to connect to the network - Being, moreover, that it is provided by nature, but forgotten by you in the pursuit for world accomplishments. Nobody objects them, but first of all you must become energetically strong and deliberate - and then, based on an understanding of your needs - create and achieve.

Working on yourself (self-assessment of the your state)

We begin this completely practical course of working on ourselves, based on the increased interest of man to the practical side of search. We are opponents to the current popular slogans, declaring a lightweight approach to Spiritual growth, and having behind our own experience, the experience of our Companions and the Masters of humanity, we always attitude with great respect for this magnificent and very exciting process.
No general recommendations can be given - this process is strictly individual, especially at the stage of Spiritual search. But there are general laws which can not be ignored - and here is where the practice may be given. In addition, we proceeded from the need to provide the widest range of approaches gained by mankind in self-discovery. Having personal experience of many practices and a deep conviction of their efficiency with the right approach and understanding, relying on the assistance of colleagues, whose search spread to many corners of the world, we hope to remove many of the contradictions between the representatives and followers of different schools. There is no subject of the dispute – it is only a problem of depth and thoroughness of approach.
In addition, experience shows that there are no universal methods. Each person is different, and without persistent search for the path corresponding only to you - the Path of the Heart - the movement is impossible. We can see the simulating turbulent process in many people, but here's the result is often unsightly - disappointment, pessimism, and as a result - a setback.
There will be given the necessary minimum of theoretical foundations and a variety of techniques for each stage of the searching in this course.
Let's start with the very first step – a simple dissatisfaction with themselves and way out. In varying degrees this applies almost to everyone, so it will be useful even in the absence of interest to the Spiritual growth directly - but in the presence of sustained desire to change their lives.
About Some Big Laws.
Without knowledge of the basic laws existing in the Universe, there can not be any deliberate progress in any sphere of life. We do not intend to answer the question "why?" here – it will be enough if we can figure out "how". There are many of these laws existing, but there are two fundamental, which flow all the rest from. You can call them the laws of the trinity and septenary. Consider the order.
Trinity Law is formulated quite simply: any event is possible only with the participation of the three forces. These forces are called in different ways: positive, negative and neutral; building, destroying and saving - and so forth. This law is reflected practically in all religions. Its effect is manifested not only on higher levels of Being, but also in everyday life and does not depend on knowledge about it. But ignorance of it leads to the fact that people are not able to manage the processes of their own lives effectively. Later, we consider the practical application of this law in different cases.
Law of septenary describes the passing of any process. It is more difficult, but it easily reveals itself in right understanding. It can be formulated as follows. Any process, that occurs with increasing or decreasing of the intensity, overcomes in its development seven unequal nodal points, at which either slows down or speeds up. With this formulation, it does not seem very clear, but you can understand it through the specific examples. The main thing is that, in accordance with this law the creation of the Universe and any process in everyday life happens. And without knowing it, at the end the person often gets what he did not plan in the beginning. The most vivid demonstration of the septenary law is the structure of a musical octave, reflected in the keys of some tools. The black keys, denoting a semitone, are not among all the white keys - this is a consequence of the irregularity in the law. Octave looks like following:
- Do-semitone-re-semitone-mi-fa-semitone-and sol-semitone-la-si-semitone-do-.
The reasons of this situation should not worry us - the main thing is that the law works in all areas of life, and man does not know it.
The most important consequence of these two laws is the structure of the Universe, and as a special case – of a man. It is fashionable to talk about the centers of the human body, chakras, kundalini, fate - but all these conversations are usually conducted at such amateurish level, that not only can not give any knowledge, but also avert the human desire from getting them, "blowing upon" so beautiful and inexhaustible subject.

Introduction to meditation
We begin a new cycle of meetings and they will focus on a very popular in our time questions about meditation. In order to talk about it, you need to understand what is meant by the term. It is fairly changed in the last few decades, and the word "meditation" is used so often that to talk about it is very difficult. In our conversations we will try to show you the essence of meditativeness. To do this, you must agree on a few basic concepts. As a rule meditation is called as any form of concentration, relaxation, contemplation, and similar processes.
All of them are based on an energy basis, but even many practitioners do not understand the essence of what is happening. Look at how many schools of meditation, how many applied techniques, how many "easy" ways to achieve are proposed... we must still to decide "what". Today is a time that many energy concepts are distorted in almost all spheres of human life, their inner meaning is hidden from people, and in training we can often see the case that Jesus called "the throwing of beads ...." From my own experience I know that too few of those who moved in his own growth on the external effects, but an absolute majority is either completely disappointed, or automatically continue action become habitual. In the spiritual search there is nothing more devastating than disappointing.
In fact, meditativeness is a completely natural state of man, but lost in a result of the living conditions impact. Nothing is achieved, nothing is gained - just remembering what is an integral component for man. When people say "I am doing meditation," or "I am in meditation", it seems - and it is often true - that man strives to any action, or to achieving it. Of course, such actions are taking place on more or less regular basis - that is committed practice. When we talk about these phenomena, we call them the "meditativeness" - a condition that a person can "remember". Then we are not talking about some practices (making), but we talk about the possibility of the entrance to a natural state, and all available methods and techniques are not meditation, they are inputs. With this approach any search direction can be possible, and nothing can be ruled out, nothing can be advantageous - it all depends on the person, his personality.
The best analogy of what we say is a dream. It is very close to people, and everyone wants to plunge into the deepest of its condition - the so-called dreamless sleep. Just during this short period of time a person replenish spent energy. All other time you can call falling asleep, and then - getting into a natural deep sleep. And various practice methods of meditation, in fact, are only moving to a natural meditative. But the lack of understanding causes that the input is taken as the state itself, and prevents the further search. With this approach, the contradiction between the schools and methods are deleted - all of them can lead to a meditative essence but you must understand the occurring processes.
In the following discussions we will show you a meaning of this remarkable phenomenon, and we hope that things will become for you closer and clearer.
