B.L. Spencer is a fantasy author from Australia. Diagnosed with ADHD in 2025, and identifying as AuDHD, Spencer finally found the clarity to begin writing the stories they had always carried inside. They started work on Silentwhisper, their debut novel—a tale shaped by their own experiences of doubt, guilt, shame, and the search for belonging.

They write about queer characters because the queer community gave them safe spaces to be themselves. Through fantasy, Spencer explores what it means to live behind masks and the courage it takes to remove them.

Silentwhisper is their debut novel and the first in a planned series.
