If you’ve followed me on social media for any length of time, you know that I don’t share personal details of my life on the internet. Privacy is one of my core values, but in this case, I feel transparency is warranted.
My husband was diagnosed with cancer and had surgery very recently. Due to his ongoing treatment and care schedule, I need to be home close to him, so I’ve made the decision to step back from my upcoming book tour.
I’m deeply sorry to disappoint you and miss seeing everyone in person. But I know you understand, and I appreciate your support. This is the same type of cancer that took my dad.
(Deep breath.)
