America is facing the greatest challenge to our freedom since its founding. We hear about it everywhere we turn. We know there is a problem that will not be easy to fix, but how can we do our part to fix it? Can we fix it on our own? Is there hope? Will we give up on America?
I believe America was given to us by God because the founders dedicated it to Him. The only way we will be able to re-claim our country is by doing it God's way. Only He knows the answers if we will turn to Him with such passion that we are willing to obey Him.
Joshua is a good example. The walls had to come down before they could possess the land, and he simply obeyed God's instructions even though what he was told to do was totally outside human reason. In America, before we can re-possess our land, the unrighteous, unholy walls need to come down, and the only way that will happen is by total obedience to God.
When Ezra rebuilt the foundation, he led the people into repentance for the sins of the nation before the foundation could be built.The second thing that needs to happen is a rebuilding of our foundation. What is our foundation? Total surrender and obedience to God through conviction of sin and repentance. We need to set aside all of our idols and stop agreeing with the culture we live in. We are steeped in it. A large percentage of Christians are so inundated with this ungodly culture that they have ceased to know the difference between the holy and the unholy.
Lastly, we need to do as Nehemiah did and rebuild the walls. He is the model of perfect unity in the body of Christ. The people who came alongside each other were from different walks of life and different ages. Leaders worked alongside shepherds and children worked alongside adults. Each had an important assignment and carried out their task in harmony. Once we do this, the body of Christ will be ready for the next step - mass harvesting of souls. Until we have his fragrance and look like Him, love one another, and love those who don't know Him, we will not see His kingdom come in fullness and glory, and we will not see our precious nation restored.
This group is for people who carry that passion. We can share thoughts and ideas of how we can move forward in unity to reach our precious nation, restoring America once again to God's original purpose.visit Deborah's website, http://DeborahNazemi.com for more information about her book and her ministry.
